This report will present the results of the project and the research findings and data obtained during
the conduction of the project. Here are what was gathered
The survey results show the pie chart dividing into 10 parts, showing a diverse array of fields among
the survey respondents. However, there were complications during the project, which lead to pie
charts over-dividing the slices, so all pie charts will have redundant slices in them. This one, in
particular, has 2 of them. As illustrated by the chart, respondents who have jobs related to
manufacturing represent the largest portions of the chart, adding up to 45%, which is 9 people.
People who have jobs pertaining to commercial services have the second largest percentage,
standing at 25% when tallied up together, which is 5 people. The remaining respondents are
represented as individual slices in the pie chart, with each slide representing 5%, which is 1 person.
These slices represent the following fields: Medicine, Education, Consulting, Bank, Semiconductor,
“Design, construction and Interior, and Decoration”.
This pie chart contains 2 redundant slices for yearly and quarterly. Examining the survey responses,
all participants have employee performance assessment conducted by their organizations, with
yearly assessments having the largest percentage of the pie chart, which is 45% when added
together, which represents 9 people. Quarterly assessments are in second place, with a total of 30%,
which represents 6 people. Monthly assessments are in 3rd place. With 3 respondents having them
for their companies. The remaining slices represent 1 person per slice, with light green being 6-month
assessments, and dark pink being based on revenue and work results

As seen from this pie chart, it is evident that it has 2 redundant slices relating to quarterly and
monthly frequency. It can be plainly seen that quarterly frequency takes up the lion’s share of the pie
chart, making up a total of 60%, representing 12 people. The second biggest percentage belongs to
monthly frequency, which takes up 25%, representing 5 people. The remaining slices represent 1
person per slice, with the frequency being as followed: According to each project; Yes, sometimes
annually and also depends on schedule from HR team; Only when we have derived demand.
For this pie chart, there are 3 redundant slices relating to yearly, quarterly and no frequency. The
biggest percentage goes to yearly frequency, with a total of 35%, representing 7 people. The second
biggest percentage goes to quarterly frequency, with a total of 30%, representing 6 people. The third
biggest percentage belongs to no frequency, with a total of 25%, representing 5 people. The
remaining slices, which corresponds to 1 person per slice represent monthly frequency and “Yes,
sometimes annually and also depends on schedule from HR team“.

In this pie chart, there are 2 redundant slices for both choices. From what is illustrated, most
companies that the respondents worked in have employee career development, with 85% of
respondents, representing 17 people answering yes, whereas only 15% of respondents, which
represents 3 people answered no.
Similar to the previous pie chart, there are 2 redundant slices for both choices. From what is shown,
most companies that the respondents worked in have remuneration other than salary, with 90% of
respondents, representing 18 people answering yes, whereas only 10% of respondents, which
represents 2 people answered no.

Within the final question, titled “What other policies does your company have to retain talented
employees?”It is shown that many companies that respondents worked for has various policies
featured in others’ answers, such as ESOP, Holiday for staffs, Mentoring, increasing salary, and
Support with social security costs for employees.

This project was intended to discern the key challenges and obstacles the manufacturing sector deals
with in terms of talent management. In order to provide a basis for achieving the aim of the
particular project that is mentioned above, a set of distinctive objectives have been framed as
follows:
• To analyze various companies within the manufacturing sector, particularly their HR departments
• To understand the nature of the key challenges and obstacles facing the manufacturing sector in
terms of talent management
• To identify the talent management strategies companies used to handle those challenges and
obstacles
Throughout my time embarking on conducting this project, I feel that this work was not as good as it
could have been. That is because this project was somewhat simplistic in nature and I was negligent
in performing this project adequately. This project mainly consists of creating a Google Form and
designing qualitative and quantitative research questions so it can be sent around for people to
answer, then have the gathered data analyzed to see what can be derived from them. For me, the
aspects of the development process that worked most well was the gathering process, because
during that time, I was able to request my parents to send my survey to their friends so it saved time
for me to find a group of people who are willing and able to answer the survey. The initial research
was procrastinated, as was the concept development for the project along with the development
process, therefore lowering the quality of the presentation of the project, and by extension, the
entire project altogether.
