Assignment Brief and Guidance:
Bluegenesis Inc. is a digital AI company that provides AI consultancy and implementation services
to the IT industry in Pakistan. The company is a multi-segment organization and all the units are
extensively working in the field of Artificial Intelligence.
You are working in Bluegenesis as an Assistant AI Analyst and currently you are associated with
the Artificial Intelligence research unit. This unit has been involved in researching the application
and implications of AI.
There is a change in management strategy and the new vision requires some research related to
the identification of up to date potential benefits and challenges that can be associated with the
implementation of AI. The management has tasked you to conduct a quick research on the any
one of the following topics:
• How can AI elements be included into an existing system, to improve efficiency or
performance?
• Explore the impact AI may have on a system, its usage and the user experience.
• What potential benefits and challenges can arise from the inclusion of AI into a system?
• Consider the potential of AI innovation in a system you have investigated/developed

This is an organizational funded project therefore, you are required to keep a complete project
trail along with all the required documentation and planning schedules. The management has
provided you a 4 months’ time duration to complete this project and submit the findings.
This project has been divided into 2 parts.
Part 1
You requirements for this part are:
• Selection of Research Topic
• Identify the aims and objective for this project and document them (P1)
• Develop a Project Plan that reflects the scope, cost, time, quality, risk, and resources
required for the project. (P2)
• Develop a formal Work Breakdown Structure and Gantt chart reflecting the proper
execution of the complete project plan (P3)
• Project Management Plan should reflect formal application of milestone setting and
project schedule. A formally maintained plan (M1)

 • Develop your requirement gathering instruments (i.e. survey questionnaires, interview
sheets, etc.) to conduct a small scale research on the given topic. Research methods should
include both qualitative and quantitative methods. (P4)
• You should apply multiple research methods and evaluate the accuracy and reliability of
results from these results. Write a brief description of your findings for the best suited
method. (M3)
• Evaluate the project management process that you have adopted and the research
methodologies that you have applied with regards to the expected outcomes vs original
outcomes. Document your best experiences as well as worst experiences during this phase
and also give recommendations for future reference to have a better experience. (D1)
Part 2
Based on the outcomes of your results from the Part 1, you are required to perform following:
• Analyse the research data collected using appropriate tools and techniques while keeping
the actual objectives in consideration to generate useful information (P5)
• Prepare a presentation of the results and give your own version of the conclusion derived
from the results (P6)
• Use appropriate tools and techniques that would validate the authenticity and accuracy of
the results and justify the recommendations (M3)
• Based on this activity, develop a report that would reflect on the value of undertaking this
research and how does it meet the stated objectives. Also include a section of your
personal experiences, learning and overall performance during this project. (P7)
• Include in your report the value of Project Management process and its contribution in this
project. How it helped in achieving the stated objectives and how does it support you in
your own learning and performance (M4)
• Include in your report, the critical evaluation and reflection of project management
processes on the project outcomes, the decision-making process and changes or
developments of the initial project management plan to support justification of
recommendations. Also include its impact on own learning during the project (D2)
