Introduction

COVID-19 vaccination is a whole process that can only be done by gathering information

from the public. The health authorities need to utilize proper information in terms of

arranging the vaccination campaigns against the current pandemic. The implementation of

mass vaccination campaigns for the pandemic can only be done through having proper

knowledge about the population. These kinds of vaccination campaigns are free of hesitancy

and politicization. Health authorities use such kind of information to target the population and

divide them into different sectors for vaccination. The initiatives that are taken by the health

authorities are based upon the information that is gathered by the citizens of the particular

country [ CITATION Mey20 \l 1033 ].

Body

Utilization of information to accomplish vaccination campaign

A proper vaccination campaign is considered a huge challenge and it’s difficult for the

country to manage it. Similarly in Saudi Arabia, it's difficult for the health authorities to

involve every single individual in vaccination campaigns and provide them a dose because

there is a large population in Saudi Arabia. There is prior planning that must be taken by the

health authorities for vaccination campaigns against the current pandemic because it's very

important to fulfill the goals of the vaccination program. The health authorities have the

responsibility to provide the vaccination doors to a large number of people in a short period.

The widespread practice of the vaccination campaign against the current pandemic requires

proper age, area because huge detailed information is required for the campaign [ CITATION

DeR20 \l 1033 ].

The health workers that are involved in accomplishing the vaccination campaign require

information so that they can easily reach every individual of the country with the vaccine.

They set proper goals in terms of villages towns and neighborhoods that they need to visit.

Every successful campaign requires a proper micro plan because there are a lot of elements

that must be fulfilled. The health authorities can utilize information because they have a

variety of resources through which they can easily gather the most accurate and detailed

information about the communities. Building each piece of information for the authorities

very difficult, the health authorities use information regarding Landmarks, population,

seasonal spreads, environmental specifics, symptoms of covid, and various other factors. All

of such kind of information is used by the health authorities to calculate that how many

amounts of vaccines are required for the vaccination campaign. They also have information

about the logistics and the number of health workers that are required to accomplish this plan

[ CITATION Mil21 \l 1033 ].

These kinds of small information help the health authorities to plan and accomplish the

campaign. It gives a detailed picture and a proper situation for the accomplishment of the

campaign. No matter it is difficult to reach but the health authorities fulfill the task and

provide protection to the public. The proper information that is gathered by the health

authorities also includes the targeted age group for the vaccination campaign and facts about

the disease.

The health authorities collect data from the mobile phone call records too for the

accomplishment of the campaign. The information can also be utilized for arranging centers

for the campaign and hiring staff members. After collecting the information the health

authorities can easily target the Medical staff, senior citizens in different phases. This is a

very difficult and unusual situation but still, the health authorities utilize the information well.

All of the collected information also helps the health authorities to supply the vaccines as

well. The health authorities must provide the maximum benefit to the public with a limited

number of vaccines [ CITATION Dro20 \l 1033 ].

Protection of communities from the second wave

As we all know about the increasing cases of covid-19, there is also a chance of a second

wave. When the covid begin, it was predicted by the experts that it might have different

kinds of waves and all the ways can increase the cases. Human Behaviour is considered to be

the major factor that can be used as data to protect the communities from the 2 nd wave of

COVID-19. The health authorities can monitor the interaction among the public and can also

measure the restrictions and the activities that have high risks. The data can easily be

gathered by the health authorities regarding religious practices, indoor dining in restaurants,

celebrations, socialization, and many other factors [ CITATION XuS20 \l 1033 ].

The health authorities can use data from different cities and public places that how the virus

is spreading among peoples and needs to stop to protect the citizens from the 2 nd wave. The

data regarding the actual number of people that are getting sick just because of the covid 19

can also help the health authorities to restrict the second wave of covid 20 because the

number of tests, the symptoms in people, and the deaths are clear and prominent in front of

the health staff.

After the first wave of covid 19 many of the communities all over the world, even Saudi

Arabia also begins to open the restaurant's malls and different public places for the people.

The resume in such kinds of public gatherings and activities leads towards the increase in the

number of infected people. The health authorities can use the data of these kinds of people as

many of the people attracted Heidi in this kind of area. The transmission of the virus becomes

very easy as these kinds of public activities are resumed because people are contacting with

each other. As the health authorities monitoring the symptoms and note the contact of people

can easily stop the spread of the virus [ CITATION Pre20 \l 1033 ].

The health authorities can also use some technology to track the COVID-19 cases and restrict

them. If everybody out there continues to practice social distancing, washing hands, and

wearing marks it will be easy for the health authorities to protect the communities from the

2nd wave of covid 20 because the interaction between the people reduces the transmission of

the virus. Through such kind of proper plan, the health authorities can easily restrict the

transmission of covid 19 and also accomplish the vaccination campaigns so that people

cannot be infected with this virus some of the urgent medical care and also help the

authorities to protect people. The data regarding the spread and increase of the virus would

result in alerting the authorities so that they can easily plan and protect their citizens in such

kind of critical situations. The alarming situation with the help of proper usage of the data can

easily help the medical staff and authorities to assist the capabilities of the healthcare system

and make them ready for the further situation [ CITATION Lop20 \l 1033 ].

Conclusion

My experience in working on my TMA is very good because this course helped me to

develop understandings of two different business-driven technologies and their strategies. I've

learned such kind of concepts that helps me to adapt some individual needs and learnings.

One of the most important concepts that I've learned is data and information gathering which

is very helpful in every sector and Department of the country. I also learned about the

innovation strategies and different models of technology. Industry needs to collect data with

the help of technology because it matters a lot and helps the company to face challenges.
