EWF/IIW Welding Diploma

An internationally recognised certification for assessing the competence of tasks/responsibilities


during welding coordination (BS EN ISO 14731)

ENTRY
REQUIREMENTS Entry Requirements • Professional Technician or Engineering Technician (EngTech) status granted by the Engineering Council UK,
registered through The Welding Institute
Two years’ relevant experience and one of the following: • A Level 2 qualification (eg NVQ level 2 Engineering, CSWIP Welding Inspector) providing you pass the entry exam*
Entry requirements for each level can be found • A minimum of a CSWIP Senior Welding Inspector certificate

The vast majority of candidates who wish to take Welding Technologist
(Intermediate) (Intermediate) (Intermediate)
the Engineer level start with the six modules at (EWT/IWT)
Specialist level and build on their knowledge with
another four modules at Technologist level and
then a final four at Engineer level. For exemption

These are their rules which we must follow in order Engineer
