1) ABSTRACT

Electriva charging station is a registered company that will be located in Karachi, Pakistan. We
will function a public fast charge station that is bigger than 40 Kw. We will deliver over 60 miles
in the range of 10-30 minutes. Our branches of Electriva charging station that will be located in
major cities of Pakistan will work on full, minimum and self-service as it suits the place.
Our fundamental services contain charging station and battery switch for automobiles charging.
Other services include auto car wash repair and maintenance service, selling of spare parts of
electric charging automobiles.
To become the number one choice among electric automobile owners we are quite conscious to
provide best services on the location that we will ply, we should persist to make our operating
system easy and welcoming and that is what Electriva charging station company will do.
Our best customer service and other services that we will provide make us to become the top in
the whole town. We are open to practice the modern technology in our industry.

BACKGROUND:
The outrageous impacts of carbon emissions are vivid to world now and with the rise in global
warming the world is simultaneously at rise of natural disasters and scarcity of resources.
Gasoline Vehicles emit up to 4.6 metric tons of carbon dioxide that eventually disturbs whole
climate of world to its worst. Throughout the world, Countries and Nations are trying to adapt
electric vehicles, which run on solar and wind energy to cut off pollutions and trying to reduce
aftereffects of global warming. At the end of December 2020, Pakistan also introduced its EV
Policy in order to promote Electric Vehicles in public to live up to the green standards of new
era.
The new EV policy of 2020 cut down significant amount of taxes and duties on import of electric
vehicles, manufacturing plant and spare parts of electric vehicles, which attracted lot of investors
in Pakistan. Soon after the EV policy, newly launched Car Company MG introduced its first
affordable electric vehicle in Pakistan named as MG HS EV. Sigma Motors of Lahore also
imported affordable electric vehicles from china under the price bracket of 2 million rupees. In
Pakistan, not only Electric Cars are being promoted but also Electric Bikes and Electric Auto-
rickshaw are being planned to be manufactured on different levels
With the sudden rise in demand of Electric Vehicles, The business of Electric Charging Station is
also in demand because Electric Vehicles are not practical unless Pakistan have appropriate
number of EV Charging Stations across highways, urban and rural areas.

INTRODUCTION TO ELECTRIVA:
Electriva Car Charging Station is an electric power system for the charging of electric vehicles,
including electric buses and plug-in hybrid vehicles.
Most importantly, Electriva Charging station won’t use electricity made by carbon emissions of
Coal and Petroleum. Instead it will produce its own renewable energy from Solar Panels and
Windmills
The “Electriva Charging Station” will not only include Electric Vehicle Charging Points instead,
it will have human-less car washing system which will wash, and dry the car within few minutes
while using effective machines. Before 2000s, Car Washing was a time taking and difficult job
throughout world but in today’s modern era, most of the people cannot afford large waiting lines
and slow process of car service. It will definitely attract car owners if their car will be washed
within 10 minutes while they can enjoy their snacks sitting in the same car being washed.
The Idea of Electriva is not just about profits but it is about Green Revolution which will save
the world from the adversities of Global Warming.

1) SCOPE:
Many researches are predicting huge expansion in Global Market of Electric Vehicles and their
charging stations. According to IHS Automotive, the global production of Electric Vehicles is
expected to increase significantly between 2014 to 2021. The global EV Charger (EVC) market
is forecast to grow from more than 1 million units in 2014 to more than 12.7 million units in
2021. According to Dawn, The United Nations has been told by Pakistan that they are
implementing a plan to make sure that, until2030; at least 30 per cent of the automobiles used are
electronic in this region.
While keeping in view all the facts and figures discussed above we are writing a business
portfolio on “Electriva Charging Station” which is portrayed to become the nationwide EV
Charging Chain and grow as the successful business line in Pakistan like all the petrol pumps
chains like Shell, Total or PSO are working currently.

environment friendly Electric Charging Stations throughout the width and breath of country”

“To Develop a profitable and sustainable electric charging station and automatic car washing
business which will not only provide customers with time efficient and affordable services but
always go beyond the level of ultimate customer satisfaction.”

and entrepreneurial opportunities in EV Charging Station Business.
• To introduce with business structure of Electriva, its vision and mission, its management,

3) INDUSTRY OVERVIEW:
Currently, In Pakistan there exist no company that manufactures electric vehicles locally and
very few companies are importing electric vehicles from Japan, United States and Central
Europe so we can say that the current market of electric charging station is new, dynamic and
full of risks. According to Suneel Sarfaraz Munj, who is founder and CEO of Pakwheels, there
are only five charging stations in Pakistan; Two in Lahore, one in Karachi and two in Islamabad.
The first electric charging station was started by PSO (Pakistan State Oil) in Islamabad named as
“Electro” and it is accepting dealership requests on its website.
In December 2020, Government of Pakistan launched EV Policy that subsidized custom duties
and taxes on electric vehicles after which there is a huge interest of investors is observed in
automobile market. MG (Morris Garages), Sigma Motors, Sazgar Auto rickshaw, BMW, Audi,
Dynasty IT Electric Cars (Rehmat Group), and many other companies are showing and investing
their interest in Electric Vehicles.
Last week, Javed Afridi, CEO of Haier and JW MG Motors hinted about bringing Tesla in
Pakistan which is the biggest electric car manufacturer of the world. He also announced his
Electronic Charging Station business named as “ZedCent Plug” which is solar energy-based EV
charging stations across Pakistan.
After all the recent updates about Electric Cars and Charging Stations, anyone can predict the
fact that, It is going to be revolutionary business industry within 2 years. The market is new but
after governmental role, it is expected to grow at very fast pace. It definitely involves financial
risks but can prove as a very profitable business in future.
As far as industry of Automatic Car Wash is concerned, it is also very profitable business with
less competition. Speaking about Hyderabad, there is only one automatic carwash tunnel in front
of Boulevard that explains the lack of competition of business.

4) OPERATIONAL PLAN:
Electriva will be based on large area like the way petrol pumps are build. It will have charging
pumps having long wires that will be connected to electric car and charge it within few minutes.
Besides that, the station will also have carwash station like the tunnel that will automatically
wash the car with advance machinery within few minutes.
Initially, we will start our first charging station in high traffic location in Karachi which will be
essential for making a proper brand image. We will provide charging and battery changing
service. We will also run a grocery store, car wash, vulcanization, tire balance, wheel alignment
and other car maintenance facilities.

SOURCE OF ELECTRIC POWER:


For the supply of electricity, we will avoid the connection from WAPDA and will ensure
hundred percent recovery from renewable energy. We will place large Solar Panels at the top of
station which will generate energy from sunlight. Furthermore, we will install large windmill as
per the production requirement of station. Refer to pictures on next page

CHANNEL DETAIL:
It will be a retail platform having only physical existence but by the time, we will enhance our
operations by introducing online app for advance booking of charging and pickup service of car
if clients don’t have time to bring the vehicle by himself. Then the valet himself will charge the
vehicle or do other services as demanded by customer and then deliver the vehicle safely to the
house of customer.

.FINANCIAL FUNDING:
For getting financial investments we will market our business proposals to large business firms
of Pakistan especially those in Petrol Pump Markets. Another Way of acquiring investment firm
is to introduce securities in Stock Exchange Market or getting Loan from Bank.

GOVERNMENTAL REGULATIONS:
In Petroleum Industry, it is very difficult and costly to get license for Petrol Pump Stations but In
EV Market government itself supports the businesses to shift users on electric vehicle, as it will
save resources of billions of rupees therefore, getting a license for EV Charging station is not a
hectic process.

5) MARKET ANALYSIS AND COMPETITION:
As discussed above the market of EV Charging Station is not competitive in Pakistan because of
lack of availability of Electric Vehicles but it is expected to grow in upcoming years because
many companies are introducing Electric Vehicles in Pakistan, which is promoted by EV Policy
of Government.
We have selected the location of Karachi because it is the largest Metropolitan City of Pakistan
having the population of 20 crores people. Introducing The New EV Charging Station to such
large target market would be dynamic but profitable.
In Karachi, there is a minor competition in existing market only AUDI and BMW are providing
charging facilities to its customers of electric vehicles.

TARGET MARKET:
In Karachi, our target market would be consumers of electric vehicles and motorcycles, and these
people are naturally busy leaders, businesspeople, women and sports men, women and men
military, households, students and governmental officials and so on.

CUSTOMER SEGMENTATION:
The general age would be 18 plus because children and teenagers less than 18 years of age are
not allowed to use car. In Pakistan, Upper Middle Class mostly afford the electric vehicles
therefore they will have the major chunk of our marketing budget.

COMPETETIVE ADVANTAGE:
The Market of Electric Vehicle Charging Station is considered as one of the least competitive
market of Pakistan therefore it will give huge competitive advantage to starting owners of the

6) SALES AND MARKETING PLAN:
SALES MANAGEMENT:
In starting, after investing the capital to the business and put 50% portion in marketing side. We
have estimated our first-year sale up to Rs. 3,200,000. We will generate our sales through RFID
technology. RFID technology is the device in which each customer will have to register and get
card to avail the services of Electriva Charging Station, Customer must have their Cards to enter
in the boundaries of Electriva Charging Station, and the payment will be deducted on monthly
bases. Those customers who doesn’t subscribe to RFID verification are not able to avail the
services. Each and everything will be done by machinery and doesn’t required any human
efforts. Each vehicle must have to register to utilize the services of Electriva Charging Station,
Each vehicle can only avail services which it is registered for.
For instance: if a vehicle has registered for charging then it couldn’t avail electric car wash,
repair and maintenance. They should put the card in the machine to use the services.

Electriva charging station starting up to increase maximum benefit in Electriva charging station
industry in Pakistan and we must ensure to deliver excellent services from both basic charging
station and car wash services. We generate our income by offering following services to our
customers:
• Provide charging station and battery switch
• Provide automobile spare parts to purchase.
• Provide auto electric car wash, repair and maintenance services.
• Provide all the services related to wheel such as wheel alignment, vulcanizing
service etc.

an innovative and creative business plan to do in today’s world. Electriva charging station will
meet the need of customer, get great success in the growing market, and provide the best
infrastructure and service needed to permit the increased production of Electric automobile. We
have made those marketing strategies that attract customer especially the targeted one to meet
our sales forecast. One of the major problems reducing down electrical vehicle (EV) sales is the
lack of adequate infrastructure and services, that EV charging vehicles need, in Pakistan. The
trend to electric automobiles and the demand for convenient electric vehicle charging station
growing in the electric automobile market. We will provide our customer with RFID technology
service so they do not need to worry about the money as payments are directly deduct from their
bank accounts. We think this is one of the incentives we have with our competitors because until
now no one has introduced this technology in Pakistan in electric automobile business. Electriva
charging station also contributing in decreasing global warming problem that is prevailing
nowadays and effecting our climate badly. If people switch to electric automobile, so it will also
good for our climate too. Lastly, we have selected a good location for our electric charging
station; we will absolutely generate good incomes on our investment in short period of time.
