Fold the dress in half and find the centre. Make slip stitches to this stitch (I made 2slst).
Place a stitch marker in this stitch, this is where the next round begins. We are going to
make the first leg of the dungarees

Weave in ends using the invisible join method. Join your yarn to the back of the
dungarees and repeat rows 24-27 to make the second leg.

To make the ruffle on the dungarees, join the yarn to the first FLO on row 4 (the top of
the dungarees should be facing you).
Row sts
4 Ch2 [3dc] x14, 2ch, slst (in the same stitch as the last 3dc) 42dc
Weave in ends. Make two ties in the top corners of the back of the dungarees. Join the
yarn in each corner and make a chain of 30ch. Tie a knot and cut off the excess yarn.

Headband using Catania in strawberry or Puna in greygreen

The first 7 rounds are crocheted in rows.

Row sts
1 51ch, (starting in 2nd ch from hook) 50hdc 50
Fasten off. For the 2 row, join the yarn to the side you started crocheting on.
nd

2 1ch, 50slst (crochet these slst VERY LOOSELY) 50

Fasten off and weave in ends. Make two ties at each end of the headband. Join the
yarn and make a chain of 30ch.
The ruffle is crocheted separately and then sewn onto the headband:
1 12ch, (starting in 3rd ch from hook) 2dc, [3dc] x8, 2dc, 2ch, slst 28
(in the same stitch as the last 2dc)
Pin the ruffle onto the side of the headband, sew it on using the back loops of the chain
and weave in ends.

5
Assembling Edith the Little Bunny
Fold the ears and sew them to the head on rnd 7. Using thin black yarn, add a little bit of
embroidery to the eyes and embroider the nose between rnds 20 and 21.

Sew the arms onto row 25 of the body and sew the legs onto rows 6 of each side of the
body. It is easier if you pin them into place first to see exactly where you want to position
them.

Put on her dungarees (The leg holes are very tight and it is a little difficult to pull the legs
through). Tie the headband onto Edith’s head.
