SITE INSPECTION AND TESTING PROCEDURE

6.2 Preparation

6.2.1 Inspection and test plan

One month prior to the start of the applicable Works, EPC Contractor shall submit, for review and
approval, a detailed Inspection and Test Plan(s) (ITPs) along with the relevant ITRs tag-wise, discipline-

wise, process-wise for all construction processes to be executed by EPC Contractor. No construction
activity shall commence without approved Inspection and Test Plan.

Each ITP shall detail all review, witness, hold and certification review points for Company, EPC Contractor,
and Sub-contractors as specified. It shall also include the methods, extent and timing for examinations,
measurements or tests.

As a minimum, each ITP shall clearly include the following information:

a. Process description.

b. Quality Control requirements.

c. Responsibilities.

d. Applicable procedures.

e. Acceptance criteria.

f. Percentage of tests to be done (including increased inspection levels when performance


requirements are not met).

g. Verifying documents.

h. Review, Witness and Hold points. Contractor shall not progress the work from a hold point unless
otherwise an inspection is completed and acceptance is obtained from Company in writing.

i. ITR reference into which the test activities will be recorded.

03 Inspection and Test Plans, Method Statements and related procedures, shall include provisions to ensure
that test prerequisites have been met; that adequate calibrated instrument is available and used, and
that the necessary inspection is performed. EPC Contractor shall revise each ITP and obtain approval for
such revisions from the Company Representative as needed throughout the Project.

EPC Contractor and Sub-contractor inspectors shall maintain copies of every approved ITPs and monitor
the ITP stages frequently to avoid miss-out of any witness or hold point.

Company at their discretion may ask for ITP revision if necessary due to various reason including quality
of work.

EPC Contractors QA/QC shall maintain a register of Inspection and Tests as per the approved ITPs
indicating planned dates of Inspection and status of Inspections. The register shall also include reference
to relevant ITP, NCR (if any). Overall Inspection and Test schedule and update shall be submitted to
Company on a weekly basis.
