FLEXIBLE LEARNING GUIDELINES
Attending the Course Orientation.
Students must attend the course orientation
online to become accustomed to the nature of
the learning environment applied in the course.
For students availing the modular mode, all
necessary information about the course, mode of
delivery, and contact details of the teacher will
be part of the module.
FLEXIBLE LEARNING GUIDELINES
Reading Course Documents.
The students must take time in reading all the
necessary documents such as course syllabus,
modules, assessment tasks, etc. to become
familiar with the course outcomes and
expectations.
This is vital in allowing the students to plan their
schedule in the course activities.
FLEXIBLE LEARNING GUIDELINES

“ATTENDING” CLASS:
Just like in the face to face set-up, students must “attend” the online
components of a course.
Class participation is essential to course success.
In an online course, student attendance is considered to be defined as
logging into the Learning Management System (LMS) regularly and
participating in all academic activities required by the instructor.
A different scheme for monitoring the modular group of students will be
implemented by the teacher.
FLEXIBLE LEARNING GUIDELINES

ORGANIZING AND MANAGING TIME:

Courses that have a significant online
component may not provide students with
as many reminders of course expectations
regarding time as do traditional face-to face
courses.
Therefore, the students must be responsible
in paying attention to course schedules,
requirements and deadlines.
FLEXIBLE LEARNING GUIDELINES

STUDENT CONDUCT.
All standards of student conduct outlined in
the PRMSU Student Handbook remain in full
effect during the time of distance learning.
All students are required to maintain
appropriate expectations for school
behavior at all times in both asynchronous
