Case Situation Analysis (Min 50 words):

In this case theres a small organization where the knowledge is mostly tacit and shared
mainly by informal means information shared by chats, informal meeting, video
communication. Tacit Knowledge and Informal Communication still have limitation to
knowledge sharing in organization. For the example tacit knowledge hard to explain in sort
formal statement or write in the documents, Some of informal chat or meeting and tacit
knowledge just based on feeling from any person in organization.

your organization.

- Sharing opportunities are created. there needs to be a proper opportunity and platform for
them to quickly share what they know so it can be used accordingly. Without efforts to
optimize knowledge capture, there will be difficulties in getting the key information that
delivers value.

- Incentives Encourage Participation. Getting workers to contribute for the good of the
business can be tough, particularly if the exchange is considered one sided. This however can
be easily rectified with incentives, this could be anything from a cash bonus, to an extra day
off work, whatever it is, it just needs to be something of value to the individual. There needs
to be clear recognition that what that person is offering is valuable.

- Socialization, The socialization process can done through social interaction and
sharing experiences among organizational members. Channel that can be use in this
process, using emails, group chat and do some formal meeting wih all people in
organizations

- Externalization, Externalization is a process conversion of hidden knowledge into


actualized knowledge (explicit). For example experiences, ideas or desires become the
source knowledge from prototypes, models, books, blogs, and others. We can use
framework to make Knowledge Sharing plan in organization.

- Combination, is a concept creation of explicit knowledge with combine, categorize,


and collect two or more explicit existing knowledge. Combination known as a
supported transformation phase technology (blog, wiki, web organization, results
discussions, recordings of discussion of activities, videos, and others).

- Internalization, learn new ideas by learning by doing. Learning by doing is the


process whereby people make sense of their experiences, especially those experiences
in which they actively engage in making things and exploring the world.
