=47-Y11

The pumps are driven from the transmission auxiliary drive. The engine cooling
radiators are mounted horizontally on both sides of the carrier. The intercooler is also
sandwich mounted on the right hand side. With = 47-Y9 & = 47-Y11 now both
energised, the pump flow from P1 is re-routed to the all wheel steering and the pump
pressure cut-off is reduced by the load sense line pressure control valve. The
outriggers & suspension system also requires = 47-Y9 to be energised for system
pressure. However, = 47-Y11 remains de-energised to allow maximum operating
pressure @ 280 bar.

Two series connected pins are used for the left & right telescope cylinder pins

Without pressure, an internal coil spring

will retract the locking pin

Oil pressure enters this port When the locking pin is

The slave cylinder interlock works on

the same principle. Oil pressure must
first fully extend this pin to lock the
slave cylinder. Only when fully
extended, oil pressure can then retract
the telescope cylinder locking pins.
