MARCH 3, 2021
A.
From the peak of its highest mountain range
Down to its thousands of deepest islands
This country is truly mesmerizing, one could never find strange
For this country is the Philippines, my pride, my homeland

Everything in here is guaranteed to catch one's eye

May it be the food, sceneries, even our tiniest smile
From the beginning, I have said no lie
This surely would be the place I would stay in for a long while

Honor the people who sacrifices

Thankful for the things that you get
Treasures the legacies
That past had given of the ancestors

Learn from mistakes

Pass the learnings
Change the way it takes
Thankful for the peaceful leaving

Philippines what a wonderful name

Island full of mystery
So I make sure that its fame stay the same
By reminding the history

Standing with Filipino pride

Pursuing the hospitality
Make fellow Filipino proud
In their own home country
B. City of Smiles: Unmasking the Beauty

Philippines has so much to see

Offers the places you’ve been wanting to stay
Be it a city or a municipality
All of these have their beautiful festivity

But what captures my heart

Is the festival full of art
Different colors of flamboyant masks
Where rich history of Bacolod city basks

Festival of smiles it is what they called

As street dancers move, letting tourists be enthralled
Til’ night the fun was not yet over
With the Bacolod’s pride, Chicken Inasal is to take over

Aside from its fun festivals and delicious food

The Ruins is the best place being viewed
Joined with the prepossessing sight of Mambukal resort
With the smell of sulfur in its hot spring, a therapeutic visit it supports

Every place in Bacolod City keeps you wanting back

With its attractive sceneries, all you wanted do is to stop the clock
Indeed, too much reason to smile in this city
As there is so much to discover as it unmask its beauty

You were my little hometown,

somewhere we could stay together,
somewhere I could grow old in,
somewhere I was content forever.
