A. GEOGRAPHICAL LOCATION
 Marinduque is considered
as the geographical center
of the Philippine
archipelago by the Luzon
Datum of 1911.
 The province is a "heart-
shaped" island with a total
land area of 952.58 square
kilometers (367.79 sq mi)
 Located between Tayabas
Bay in the north and
Sibuyan Sea to the south.
 Separated from Bondoc Peninsula in Quezon by the Mompong Pass and Tablas
Strait in the west of Marinduque that separates from Mindoro Island.

a. Bathala Cave – located in Santa Cruz, Marinduque. A


cave system on the jungle clad mountain side of
Marinduque.

b. Bagumbungan – located in Brgy. San Isidro, Sta. Cruz,


Marinduque. It features amazing stalactites and
stalagmites, small waterfalls and diverse underworld
creatures.
c. Boac Cathedral – located in Baoc, Marinduque.
One of the oldest church in Marinduque.

they vary between tribes. Dowry is often paid or the
wedding plans are gone over and negotiations are usually
done by the fathers and uncles.

or cinema date. But in rural areas, socializing at home while
running errands.
