Identify the importance of the concept of "Tauheed" and explain the practical
results of this principle on the private as well as public aspects of the human life.

Tauheed means accepting the oneness of Allah and describing him as being one with no partner
in his essence and all the attributes. It is the main concept on which Muslim’s entire faith
depends. As Kalma tauheed begins begin with the word “LA“ which means negotiation and it
means No one is capable of praying or accepted as a God except Allah. He is the creator of the
universe and everything present in the universe is made by him. Even a single leaf can’t grow
without his permission. All prophets sent by Allah guides people to be on Tauheed. Hazrat
Muhammad struggled for 13 years before migration to Madinah and preached the concept of
tauheed in people minds.

Allah said in Quran:

“And we did not send any Messenger before you, but we revealed to
him (saying): none has the right to be worshipped but (Allah), so worship Me (Alone).”
In makki surah’s in Quran, All the concepts of tauheed are mentioned. Tauheed is the first and
foremost believe for a Muslim on which all other doings depend. Allah said in Quran:
“Indeed, we sent Nuh (Noah) to his people and he said: “O my people! Worship Allah
(SWT)! You have no other AIlah (God) but Him.

From this ayat we can see that for every Prophet before Hazrat Muhammad, Allah sent the
message of tauheed with them to guide people because it is the first step to be a Muslim.

Now the question is that if you do not believe on tauheed concept, what will happen? You will
be among losers who are ashtray’s and every astray is in hell fire. That person will do shirk,
which is an unforgiveable sin in Islam. Believing someone other than Allah in his attributes,
essence and oneness is Shirk, Repentance on your shirk and by not doing it again will save that
person from hell fire.

There are three types of Tauheed.

1) RUBUBIYAAH ( LORDSHIP
2) ULUHIYYAH (WORSHIP)
3) ASMAA WAS-SIFAAT (ATTRIBUTES)
Rububiyyah is the main concept that Allah alone caused all the things when there was nothing,
He is almighty and the creator of the whole universe. God is the only real power in existence, it
is He who gave all things the power to move and to change. Uluhiyyah is the concept that
ALLAH is the one who is capable of worshipping. No other thing, person or creature cannot be
worshipped accept Allah. This concept includes to please Allah by following the fives pillar of
Islam.
Allah said in Quran:
“And I Allah did not create the jinn and men except that they should worship me (alone)”.

ASMAA WAS-SIFAAT is the third type which deals with the concept that Allah is alone in his
names and attributes. No one is as Raheem, Rahman as Allah is. Allah (SWT) must be referred
to according to how He and His Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) have described Him instead
explaining His names and attributes by giving them meanings other than their obvious
meanings.
So these three types fulfill the concept of tauheed. Without any of these types a Muslim cannot
be Muslim.
We know that Tauheed is very important to become a Muslim. But only becoming a Muslim
isn’t enough. Now the question is that how tauheed effect our private and public lives and how
helps us to sustain in this world.
Tauheed starts from the Kalma tayyaba that “there is no God except Allah and Hazrat
Muhammad is the last messenger of Allah” This believe gives him a clear vision in his life to
believe on. Then the believer will relate every source of information related to Allah Almighty.
He spent his entire life on this belief and refrain himself from worshipping any other thing like
other followers of polytheist religions are used to do. Because he know Allah is the one to
worship and to be believed.
Tauheed makes a person mentally strong. Everything which happens to him whether it is bad or
good he relates it to the will of God. He controls his emotion, ego, anger, happiness and submit
himself to Allah. He makes Allah wish as his wish. He keeps protected himself from materialistic
needs and become happy on Allah orders.
Tauheed makes a person modest, calm, honest and truthful in worldly affairs because he knows
whatever he is doing Allah is watching him. This concept makes a person patient and satisfied
with his life. He knows if he would remain truthful in his dealings then he is trading with Allah
and Allah will give him 70 times more.
Allah said in Quran: Be thankful to me, I will give you more.
Concluding, the belief on the sovereignty of Allah will free us from every worry. We associate
every bad and good happenings with Allah. When a person associate everything with him and
resist every bad happening with patience then Allah will reward him in his world as well as on
the day of judgement. According to hadith, a person who does sabr Allah will increase his rank
and will sent him to Jannat among the prophets. So, this believe helps us to please Allah in this
world and on the day of judgement.

Discuss the achievements of the Holy Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) as a Social Reformer.

Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) made a huge change in the history of the world. Holy prophet
reformed the society which laid the foundation of the Muslims and Arab civilization. The
following points intend to provide a better sense of his efforts:

Religious Freedom:
Allah said in Quran: “There is no compulsion in Islam”. At that time, people are not allowed to
accept Islam on their free will. The Arabs know that he is the Holy Prophet of Allah but due to
their socio economic reasons they resist Prophet Muhammad. Prophet Muhammad allowed the
Christian priest to pray in their mosque. Moreover, he later wrote them a decree that declared
“No compulsion is to be on them; No one is to destroy a house of their religion, to damage it, or
to carry anything from it to the Muslims’ houses; they are my allies and have my secure charter
against all that they hate.”
Now a days, some extremist Muslims force people to convert to Islam and many Hindus forces other
religion people to convert to their religion which is totally un fair. Hazrat Muhammad gave the right to
every person to listen to himself. He preached the message of God for 23 years but never forces anyone
to change his religion. He inspires people with his honesty, integrity, truthfulness and his strong
character on the basis of which people changed their religion and converted to Islam.

Racial Equality:
1) Hazrat Muhammad had always makes decisions irrespective of the religions, colour,
cast and creed. He said in his last sermon “a white has no superiority over black, nor a
black has a superiority over white, except by piety and good actions”.
2) He set an example of truthfulness for whole world. He never prioritize his family
members in his dealings and always do justice. All human beings are the son of Adam,
only superiority is on the basis of piety and good actions, but in the eyes of Allah. We
cannot decide who more piety is and who less is.

EDUCATION:
Holy Prophet said “Learning is obligatory for every Muslim men and women”. In ghazwa-e-badr
Hazrat Muhammad free the prisoners on the condition that each prisoner will teach 10 children. Now
a days, people don’t let their daughters to study for different reasons. Hazrat Muhammad said “he
who gives the best upbringing and education to their daughters will enter in paradise”.

Hazrat Muhammad said “seek knowledge even if one needs to go to China” At that time, going to
china is a very difficult task because of the un availability of transport system. Now a days, there is
less opportunity for women to gain education as compared to men. But Hazrat Muhammad give equal
rights to women for gaining knowledge.

Women’s rights:

In traditional society, people used to kill their daughters as they considered them as the sign
of shame. Hazrat Muhammad gave equal rights to women as men. In early years, people use
to kill the women’s whose husband dies. But, holy prophet gave them respect by marrying
the widow women’s. No one has given the respect to women as Holy prophet did.

RIGHTS FOR ORGHANS:

In traditional society, people don’t give proper rights to orphans and occupy their lands and
property forcefully, but Hazrat Muhammad changed the whole scenario and gave the proper
rights to them.
He said “he who up bring the orphan he will be with me in Jannah like this” he said this by
joining his two fingers.
He said “The best house among the Muslims is one where an orphan is well treated, and the
worst house among the Muslims is one where an orphan is badly treated.”

Protection for justice:

In traditional society, it is very common to favor the rich. But, Hazrat Muhammad changed
the whole scenario. Once a women of Makhzoom family found guilty of Theft, Some
prominent people tried to save her from punishment, Hazrat Muhammad said “Many
community ruined itself in the past as they only punished the poor and ignored the offences of
the exalted. By Allah, if Muhammad's (My) daughter Fatima would have committed theft, her
hand would have been severed."
Hazrat Muhammad forgive people but never compromises on justice.

Protection of slaves:
Holy prophet ordered the Muslims to be very polite with their slaves. He ordered Muslims to
buy them same quality of clothes what they like for themselves.
A man came to the Prophet and asked: Messenger of Allah! How often shall I forgive a
servant? He gave no reply, so the man repeated what he had said, but he still kept silence.
When he asked a third time, he replied: Forgive him seventy times daily.

 
Islam’s “Geneva Convention:
Quran only allowed war in the situation of self-defense or for establishing religious freedom.
Holy prophet was also migrated from Makkah to Madinah and his companion were killed. His
instructions for treatment during war is a great example of his strong character. No women,
No children, or other non- combats were harmed and the same food and clothes were
delivered to them as the Muslims. These things won the hearts of the people. But, because of
the misconduct of the Muslims extremist today making it difficult to put the historical
struggle of holy prophet for humanitarian cause in context.

cruel structure of traditional culture, Some of the main influences on the world created by
