Briefly explain the minimum criteria required for the

divine success for the human as stated in Quran.

How can a Muslim reach to the best and highest
level? Justify with example.

Surah Al-Asr is the most comprehensive surah which stated the

minimum criteria for the divine success of human. Allah said in
Surah Al-Asr “By the time, Verily Man is in loss, except those
who believe and do righteous good deeds, and recommend one
another to the truth and recommend one another to the
patience”.
In this Surah, Allah swears of the time, the time of Asr when the
whole day is going to end. Whenever Allah swears of
something, Allah (SWT) wanted to indicate the importance and
value of that particular topic or thing.
According to Quran, the people who believe, do right deeds
and recommend one another the truth and patience is the step
to reach the minimum criteria of divine success. There are
three levels of Deen as follows:
1) Islam
2) Emaan
3) Ihsan
In first level, one should believe in Oneness of Allah,
Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH), performing salah,
giving Zakat, observing Ramadhan and performing hajj at
least one time in his life who can afford. These are the
basic things for the divine success. Second level is Emaan,
to believe in Allah, his angels, his scriptures, his
messenger, the last day of judgement and the divine
decree. These are the beliefs which everyone should have
to believe from the core of their heart.

Now the other concept is to do right things and

recommend others truth and patience. What are righteous
things? To get better understanding of Quran, being kind
and dutiful to parents, solve the problem of others, be
helpful and the most important thing in this is that these
righteous things should be done to expect Allah’s pleasure.
Our intentions should be pure. What is recommending
truth and patience to others? To talk about Islam with
others and influence them towards the truthfulness of the
Quran and Allah Almighty. To remain determined and
maintain your belief on Allah in the bad phase of your life
and advising others to keep belief on Allah in their bad
time is the explanation of these verses. These are the
things and minimum criteria towards the accomplishment
of divine success.
How a Muslim can achieve the best and highest
levels?
The highest level of Emaan is “IHSAN”. A Muslim have to
follow the previous two levels of Emaan to achieve this
highest level. Ihsan means worshipping Allah (SWT) as
though one sees him; that is, a Muslim should be
conscious of Allah and know that he sees him wherever
he may be. So, a Muhsin always tends to speak and do
what Allah expects him to do. When a Muslim follow the
wish of Allah and expect that Allah is watching him in
every doing then he becomes a Muhsin and the highest
level is achieved.
In Holy Quran, Allah Almighty says: “Indeed, Allah
commands justice, good conduct (Ihsan), and giving to
relatives (and He) forbids immorality, bad conduct, and
oppression. He admonishes you that perhaps you will be
reminded”
