School Based Journalism conducted

In line with the Campus Journalism Act of 1991, Panikian National High School conducted a 1-

Laboratory, on the 27th day of July 2018. This aims to enhance the students’ journalistic skills on campus
journalism, also, it aims to promote the development and growth of campus journalism as means of
strengthening ethical values.

The program started with an opening prayer followed by the National Anthem and after that Mr.

the event.

it is then followed by a state of purpose of the event delivered by the School Paper Adviser in
Filipino, Mrs. Sheryll M. Cuartero and in the end she added a quote, “Keep the enthusiasm in you, and
you will prosper!”.

After that, Mrs. Maridel D. Huelma gave a message filled with inspiring words to ponder where

Eliminating his administration Critics

We are being tricked by our President, he is trying to eliminate people in position who opposes
and criticizes him and his administration and make us believe that what he is doing is right, that he is
doing the good thing, he is trying to poison our minds with all his lies and evilness by making us see good
people as the bad one.

Senator Trillanes’s amnesty was revoked by president Duterte because according to him
senator Trillanes never provided requirements needed for the proclamation of amnesty, but according
to senator Trillanes it is the President’s way to eliminate his administrations critics.

According to the proclamation No.572 that the president signed, it was stated that Senator
Trillanes’s amnesty was eversince useless because Senator Trillanes never provided requirements to
qualify under the amnesty proclamation, the president also mentioned that Senator Trillanes has no
copy of his application for amnesty, but Senator Trillanes said that he would never be given an amnesty
if he never complied to the requirements.
We know Senator Trillanes as the person who opposes and criticizes to the president, he even
filled cases and complaints against the president that made everyone think that what the senator was
saying is true, that the president is trying to eliminate his administrations critics.

COACHING DILIGENCE

“Sports should be your lifestyle. If you want to thrive in the sports that you love, it
needs to find place in your lifestyle and even trampled your other habits whenever it inhibits you.”

These are strong lines of Mr. Cesar Pradas everytime he wants to encourage his Sepak takraw
team to continue flourishing in their chosen sports.

As a teacher-coach, Mr. Pradas is connected to Panikian National High School teaching Science
and MAPEH subjects in Junior High School.

Married to Ethyl Salcedo Pradas, the couple is gifted with a talented and energetic son, Saint
John Pradas. The family resides at barangay Bioto, Tandag City.

Sir Dadan, as we fondly called him is a natural to Sepak Takraw. Indeed he knows the ABC of the
sports. Humble as always, the great coach made history in the field of Takraw in his early years in
training students.

During District meets way back 2013 and latter, Panikian National High School is nothing in
comparison to other secondary schools. it never had the chance having student in Takraw chosen to
represent the municipality in the higher meets. Carrascal NHS dominated the ground as always. Not
until this man paid diligence and perseverance to triumph in the arena of Sepak Takraw.

Starting 2014-2015, sir Cesar went extra mile in training hard his students. He even invited
college students who were chanced to play in the national level. Drawing from his own pocket, he had
never felt exhausted in building the best players. They weren’t missed Invitational Sepak Takraw
competitions Mindanao wide. To supply the players with adequate equipment to utilize, sir Cesar resort
his ways in giving solicitations to his batchmates for the purchase of sports equipment.

Truly, years after years, his diligence was first paid off upon in 2016 having a student reached
CRAM. On the following years, he had the triumphs in the palm of his hand. Coaches of Carrascal NHS
and Adlay NHS during the previous Triangular Meet 2018 were at awe seeing the coach’s players
dominating the sports both in men and women category.

“Nothing really beats diligence. It’s not always the ability of the students that matters most.
Sometimes, the attitude of the coach is way more important,” Sir Cesar said.

Our coach is also both a singing and dancing whiz. He initiates variety show as a fund raising of
the school by showcasing the talent of the students every year.

“There is no such thing as lucky day in a game, diligence rather brings luck,” said sir Dadan.

Indeed, our coach is a coach of diligence.
