THE BEAUTY OF EL PARAISO

      Are you depressed in your life because you do not have what others have? Like partners in
life? are you jealous because no one will hold your hands? Is that so? Well it will not matter
anymore because you can roam or date anywhere yourself without partner. Instead of
complaining and thinking that, you are not blessed enough, Let’s enjoy ourselves in adventuring
something that will make us realize that we are all bless by God. Let’s just discover the nature
while we are still alive. Well all of your rants in your life will surely vanish when you visit EL
Paraiso, Liloy Zamboanga Del Norte. So what are you waiting for? come and get rid of your
sadness , it’s not about because you don’t have love life you can no longer enjoy life, throw all
away your negative thoughts. Don’t think that if we don’t have an escort we can’t roam
anywhere. So come on in EL Paraiso where you can find all the beautiful views you are looking
for. You can experience here the two kinds of waterfalls with the different flowing of waters
from the tops which are the Ambakon falls and Babag falls it took a meter distance away from
each other.
        It was a sunny day, December 22, 2019. I woke up all fresh and excited for another day, as
if  the waves of the sea greeted me that morning, I could see the sun optimistic and yellow pellet,
watching  the sky as I’m in EL Paraiso. As the hour pass by and we were here in the riverside.
“Oh gosh it’s so beautiful ‘’ a shocking whispered of my friend. Walking forward, I was over
whelmed  by seeing green grasses,  trees  dancing through the wind while the birds are singing,
and flowers are smiling too, how sweet and such a perfect place to visit and relax. After that
short walk passing through all those rubber trees, we went to the car to get tents and foods that
we brought. When we got to the place where we will relax, we took some selfie “ 123 say
cheese” I excitedly said to my friend. I and the rest of my companion took the snacks because
our tummy are knocking to eat, and took minute break because we were so full, after that we
soaked our bare feet into the cold water from the river and planned to follow every single path of
the river, I noticed that the rocks were so massive even in the middle, that gave us difficulty on
crossing the wide river. Because of the excitement on seeing the whole beauty of El Paraiso we
went first one of the very beautiful waterfall that can be seen in El Paraiso. The view here makes
us forget all the problems because of the water flowing calmness, it felt like the water were
singing solemn songs towards us, the view was very nice and solemn, and took selfies again. But
all of the sudden, I was silent and whispered “I wished you were here my love so you can also
see how fascinating el paraiso is like”  while my tears are falling down looking his picture. I sat
down into the big rocks because I felt tired, then suddenly my friend noticed my tears and asked
“what’s wrong with you Anne?” I immediately replied “nothing, I’m just missing someone.” She
asked me who was I talking about “someone special to me,” I replied. Then continue walking.
Walking forward we finally reached the amazing fall which is named Ambakon falls, it lifts up
our tiredness and sadness. The crystal clear water of Ambakon waterfall was gracefully pouring
down.  While I was staring at the water, flowing down, I couldn’t think about something
hilarious, all I can think about is happiness. The splendid beauty touched us and embraced it. To
make it realistic and unforgettable experience, we went to the top of the waterfall and we decided
to jump and shouting   “1, 2, 3 then jump’’.  Honestly I don’t want to leave this place because it
seems like all my problems are disappearing every time I stare around and the breeze is like a
medicine for a heart that is pinched by sadness, and that’s it, after we paddled in the cold water
we immediately changed our clothes because they were excited to go to another falls where in
this paradise can still be seen. While walking we came across many thorny plants on the side by
side of the passage and slippery spots on our way to Babag falls. But they’re all manageable
specially for those people who loves adventures and hiking, going up to the Babag falls, I could
see the light so spectacular. I then remembered my beloved and I whispered  to myself  that if he
was still with me maybe I would more than happy I felt right now,  “in fact I am no longer part
of his life now”. Anyway Babag falls on other hand is series of small waterfalls.  Its waterway is
fed by a stream from Pianca, Kalawit connecting to the main river. Its name is unofficial as well
Ambakon falls and for distinction purposes but it best describes their features, they called them
as what it looks like. Babag waterfall is technically located between the boundary of Labason
Kalawit and Liloy. Few people know this waterfall even people living in this paradise. Babag
waterfall is very annoying. It felt lovely always in paradise in El Paraiso.
      Although it is very tiring adventure, but the final destination is always worth trip. For some
point I forget all the pain and reminiscing  the love we shared together. Personally I called the
place a truly paradise. On a result of the beauty of El Paraiso, is appreciation of a nature grew
and I started to open my heart and mind for forgiveness. I’m so thankful and blessed beyond of
all those heartaches I felt before because it teach me a lot of lessons and I grew from my
mistakes I’ve created. God is really good as always, though I don’t have a partner in life right
now but I believe that God is really busy writing my own love story. I realized that in this life we
don’t need to be easy on love just because we have what they called “jowa” all we need is to wait
the right time. As I leave in this beautiful paradise, I also leave here the pain and doubt, I will
continue my life to live with a full of love with my own self and I will never depend my
happiness on another person because I can live without those.
