Travel Recount:
Indonesia was unlike any place we had visited before, almost as if we'd stepped into a dream.
It's a vast country, made up of about 18,000 islands, each one a world of its own. Our previous
journey took us to Bali, Java, and Sumatra, but even then, we barely scratched the surface of what
Indonesia has to offer. Exploring the volcanic landscapes and ancient lava fields brought a sense of
awe and wonder. One remarkable moment was watching the sunrise from a boat, an experience that
felt truly magical. But the highlight was encountering dolphins in their natural habitat. Their playful
presence reminded us to make the most of our time here, cherishing each unforgettable moment.
Our adventure also led us to a unique encounter with monkeys. We found ourselves in a lush
forest surrounded by these curious creatures. Though a bit nerve-wracking at first, we soon
discovered the joy of connecting with them. Bodhi, always up for an adventure, embraced the
experience with enthusiasm. We even learned how to call the monkeys, which resulted in a playful
army of them joining us. It was a reminder of our untamed kin and a glimpse into a world we often
overlook. Leaving the monkeys behind, we embarked on more exhilarating journeys, including
rappelling down a waterfall, an exhilarating experience that tested our bravery. The trip ended with a
sense of accomplishment, leaving us with a lasting memory of Indonesia's natural wonders.
