This standard has been prepared by CEN/TC 72 ‘Fire detection and fire alarm systems’.
The responsible German body involved in its preparation was the Normenausschuss Feuerwehrwesen
(Fire Fighting Standards Committee), Technical Committee Brandmelde- und Feueralarmanlagen und
elektrische Betriebsmittel.
