This study is entitled "K-DRAMA: ITS INFLUENCE TO THE GRADE 11 - STEM

STUDENTS OF CAUAYAN CITY NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL". This study aimed to
discover the influences of K-drama among Grade 11 – STEM and what effect does it
have on the students' lifestyle. Specifically, this study sought to answer how far K-drama
influences the students' fashion, language, choice of food, and practices. This study used
quantitative research design in order to determine the general findings. The Sampling
method used was Qouta sampling technique. Due to highly personal nature of this study
and the importance of gathering personal and specific information, this study used
survey questionnaires consisting of close-ended questions. Based on the result gathered,
fashion was one of the most influential aspect of K-drama to the Grade 11 – STEM
students. Also many of the respondents learned Korean language by reading English
subtitles and speaking word by word as a head start by watching K-drama. Most of them
also already experienced eating in Korean cuisines and started to adopt Koreans foods
like spicy dishes. Collected data from the respondents revealed that more than half of the
populations were greatly influenced by some of the well-known practices of Koreans like
imitating the way they pose in front of the camera. Almost of the teenagers have watched
K-drama and they were influenced by many aspects. In conclusion, Korean dramas have
greatly influenced the food, fashion, entertainment industries, as well as the respondent’s
views and preferences.
