MLE : Meaningful Learning Experience

Second Semester, Academic Year _2020-2021________
Instruction: Recall the activities you have had for the past days- your experiences during
your online orientation- that have meaningfully impacted you as a learner. Write your
REFLECTIONS below:

A. Describe the activity.

The activity was the ward class done through google meet online class about Care of
Clients with Tractions

B. What were your feelings about the activity? How about your thoughts about it?
I am glad that I was still able to learn these things despite of the current situation,
which is having our ward class through online setting. I was able to make and present
it to my groupmates and clinical instructor my assigned task, which are the nursing
interventions for clients with tractions.

C. What was good about the activity? What do you like about it?
What I like and the good part about the activity is that we are able to acquire
knowledge on how to manage patients or clients with tractions and to distinguish what
are the different types of it.

D. To what Liceo U core value/s would you relate the whole experience?
Service is what I can select to when it comes to relating it to the Liceo U core values. It
is about learning and practicing how to give good service to those in need especially
that the main course of this program is focused in giving fair and good service to
everyone.

E. What part/s or aspect/s of the activity would you like to be improved? How would
you like it done?
In my part, I would like to improve my time management since I was having a hard
time these days due to the hospitalization of my grandmother, Just like today, my
requirements are already late but I have to comply all of these for me to pass the
subject and I can proceed to my next year level.

F. How has the whole experience impacted you as a learner?

I am very thankful to my clinical instructors by not just helping us to be taught but
also by extending their gratitude towards us, their students, despite of the lapses and
our problems that we have, they are very understanding and considerate. May God
Bless their kindness.

G. How will you translate your meaningful teaching-learning experience in your

personal, familial, or communal life?

I would translate this meaningful teaching-learning experience simply into giving

public, fair and good service to those people who are in need especially if they have an
illness in a medical and emotional aspect as long as I can. One instance that I have
applied already is when my grandmother got stroke, I was the one is caring for her to
prevent her bedsores and monitoring her intake, output and her medications in the
hospital.
