Diploma in creative Media Production and Technology

Section 1 – Rationale.

First seven units have provided me an opportunity to explore, develop and

test my creativity within a qualification structure. I have also acquired
supportive transition from general to more specialised study.

I have gained experience in developing my practical production skills such as

planning and researching which takes place in pre-production. I have also
developed the camera skills needed to film for adverts and the editing and
evaluation skills needed in postproduction.

Section 2 – Project concept

The concept and the amies in my projects are giving the

audience social messages for an example my smoking film was a
social message to the audience quit smoking and how smoking
harms your physical health. My researching knowledge has helped
me finding information on how I could encourage my audience quit
smoking. I used the physical side effect of smoking. At the end of
my film, I had a woman quit smoking leaving healthy. For my final
project I am going to do something similar to the time past film
with a really good social message to the audience included with
comedy.

Section 3 – Evaluation

For my final project I will be making a comedy film with a social

message included. I haven’t got a clear scenario now, but I am
planning to film inside and outside, I am also going to make

makeup and different costumes to make my film look more
interesting and way more professional with good camera shots.
