On Friday April 17, 2020 Miss Ference’s Kindergarten class will be attending a field trip to

Lake Erie Nature and Science Center from 9am-2pm. In class we are learning the
difference between living and nonliving things. Going on this trip the students will have an
opportunity to see for themselves the wildlife of Ohio. Some of the amazing things that
the students will experience on this trip will be:
- Taking a nature walk and observing the different plants and animals

- Attend a session led by a biologist

explaining what some of the
different animals on site are.
Students will have the opportunity
to see some animals up close.

- Watch a short documentary movie in

the planetarium about wildlife and
the importance of saving endangered
animals
I am interested in volunteering as a
parent chaperone on this field trip.
