Section 1 : Executive Summary

Everybody once needed to go to a hardware store and buy


electronic parts for school projects, for repairing appliances or gadgets,
and to get electronic parts that sometimes are not available. Isn’t it
irritating to walk in a hardware store, having a second thought that even
the sellers might not even know what you’re going to buy? Even more
irritating, is when you describe the item that you need and at the end,
says that they don’t have any of those? Another instance is when you go
to an Electronic repair shop that doesn’t want to start repairing your item
because not all the materials needed to be fixed and replaced are not on
hand?
Well, those days are gone! Introducing, Circuitz Electronic Shop!
The one-stop-shop for all your Electronic needs! Where all electronic
appliances, parts, accessories, and components are available in the most
affordable price the market could offer. And to top it all off, the shop
even has a repairing station where you can repair damaged electronics
at the least amount of price. The shop will come in handy for people of
all age who needs electronic related purchase and repair as the shop will
run under the management of electronic-informed individuals that will
know exactly the need of every customer. With everything said, even at
the start of the business, it would already have great advantage to its
competitions like hardware stores and electronic repair shops.
This business is started by Paulo Javier, an Electronics Engineering
student who wants to explore other sides of being an engineer and use
his knowledge and experience from being the electronic shop customer,
to the Electronic shop owner. His start-up financing is from his personal
investment which is his earnings together with his inherited wealth from
his parents.

Mission
The mission of Circuitz Electronic Shop is to be the go-to shop for
anyone who has electronic related matters. The shop aims to provide
people with quality electronic products at the most affordable price and
to give people the best service in customer assistance and a repairing,
building a good foundation not only in the shop but within the lives of
our customers.
Vision
To learn and grow through experience and good service.

Section 2 : Business/Industry Overview

The business is a one-stop-shop for all electronic related purchase


and repair. The business aims to give convenience to its customers by no
longer making them walk-in to another store for an item that is not
available at ours. The store doesn’t just offer convenience to its
consumers but also to their pockets as the products will be sold in their
suggested retail prices (SRP). When it comes to services especially to the
repairing part of the shop, customers will experience a customer-friendly
service given that employees running the business will be oriented on
how to give the best customer experience before starting to work.
Service fees will also be optimized for better business impression making
customers come back incase another item needs repair.
The business will serve as a healthy competition to current businesses
involving electronics, challenging them by giving the full potential that a
business can offer to its customers. With the full customer experience
offered in the business, it will fit perfectly to the needs of every person
needing or having a problem in their electronics, be it students doing an

electronic project, adult fixing wires and cables at home, and even
professionals in the industry working on a project.

Market Size Estimation
 Overall, the Return of Investment of the units of product and
services will be at maximum of six (6) months or less.
1. Php. 20000 worth of electronic components (resistors, led
lights, switches, wires, adaptors etc.)
2. Php. 10000 worth of tools and other equipments (screw-
drivers, soldering irons, pliers etc.)
3. Php. 50000 worth of appliances (bulbs, voltmeters, CCTVs
etc.)
4. Php. 10000 worth of service and repair materials.
Not all of the units and products are going to be sold at that time
frame but the investment will return which means the remaining
products and services or the interest will be added to the next
investment where the potential repeat purchase volume will be at

an approximation of a quarter (1/4) more than the previous
investment.

 The demography will surely change the time rate of Return of


Investment. Constructions and Electric Company’s installations will
be a great opportunity when it comes to the sales since their
purchases would be a high-scale purchase.
Sales Volume Estimation
 In comparison to other business involving electronics, the business
sales will significantly be higher given that it is a one-stop-shop for
its customers purchasing or repairing. Existing electronic
businesses like a repair shop or hardware stores would be a second
choice for customers who wants convenience shopping.

Section 4 : Sales and Marketing Plan

Product or Service Offerings


Circuitz Electronic shop gives the most benefits to it’s customers
which sets it apart from other electronic shops. Its benefits are:
• The shop only sells quality and affordable electronic products that
would stand the test of time.
• The product’s price ranges from their Suggested Retail Prices (SRP)
up to only a fifth (1/5) of its investment price.
• The products offered are guaranteed to be brand new and
functioning before being sold because they will be tested in front
of the customers before getting released.
• Circuitz staffs are the best in accommodating customers as it is
considered in their orientation before work.

In terms of the repairing services;
• Customers will get more than what they paid for because of their
low service fees and the items from the shop that’s needed in the
repair will have an automatic discount and will cost less than its
normal price.

Pricing Strategy
The price range of Suggested Retail Price (SRP) up to only a fifth
(1/5) of its investment price will depend on how much a certain product
cost in other shops. As the shop aims to be known for its quality and the
most affordable prices in town, no same item from other shop should
cost less than what the item from Circuitz Electronic Shop costs. That
way, as much as how low the prices are, they would not be unprofitable
because more customers will come and more profit will too.

Sales and Distribution


The product distribution will also have an edge among other
electronic shops. Releasing the products will be different in Circuits
compared to other shops because it includes;
• Functionality test before release.
• Proper packaging of products depending on its built material and
item durability.
• Shipments to and from the shop will be done by the shop’s staffs
themselves incase online transactions will be done, that will ensure
each item’s protection for it’s buyers.
• Online purchases from the store can only be payed through Cash
on delivery for customer’s financial securities.

There will also be annual whole sales of old items from the shop in
addition for the next investments coming.

Advertising and Promotion


Different medias will be used in advertising and promoting the shop
like;
• Making a Facebook page for the shop showcasing the products and
services offered, and highlighting the staff’s friendly customer
accomodations
• Paying promotional citations and making the shop’s advertisement
chants on local radio stations making the shop familiar on every
household.
• The shop will also make road signs (like “Circuitz Electronic Shop 1
km. ahead”) for the passersby.
Product demonstrations will be done at the shop by the sales persons
for its customers to know an item’s performance and functionalities
before purchasing.

Competitive Analysis
Almost all Electronic shops are already equipped by their own
strategies in luring customers to their stores. And like them, Circuitz
Electronic Shop also have offers that will give its own stand against its
competitions. These offers will surely challenge even the existing market
that’s already dominated by established competitors. Some of which are;

Section 5: Ownership and Management Plan

Ownership Structure
The Circuitz Electronic Shop is founded by its owner Paulo Javier.
The shop will be managed by a manager that have the necessary
knowledge and skills in electronics. Next to the manager are the sales
staff of about 2-3 persons which will accommodate the customers. Lastly
is a guard for security purposes that will monitor people going in and out
of the shop.
Management Plan and Team
As the founder of the business, the first employee that I need to find
should be the manager/employer of the business. The requirements on
the position are;
• He/she should at least be a high school graduate that took as
strand or a vocation course that is related with electronics or
electrical installation,
• He/she should have a good moral character and show good
reasons why I need to hire him/her through a job interview.

The manager/employer would then hire the remaining employees
needed like the staff. He/she should consider the following in hiring;
• He/she should have at least finished his/her secondary education
• He/she should have a good moral character and show good
reasons why I need to hire him/her through a job interview.
Last to be employed before starting the business is the Guard. The
manager would hire from a trusted security agency that hired people
from their security standards.
External Resources and Services
As an engineer who started the business, is no need to hire
engineer consultants for professional resources. Accounting on the other
hand would be a handful of job in the business. An accountant would be
necessary every now and then.
Human Resources
The total maximum number of employees at the start of the business
are five (5).
• 2-3 Sales staff/maintenance that will have a monthly salary of at
least 5000 Php.
• 1 Guard that will also have a monthly salary of at least 5000 Php.
• An Accounting Consultant that will have a 7000 Php. per
consultation.

Section 6 : Operating Plan

Production
The manufacturing of the products are done by the companies
where Circuitz Electronic Shop are getting the supplies from. No changes
or modification are made to the products so the customers will get the
exact product that the companies are producing. In case a shortage in a
product happens, a set of orders from the companies will be done and
delivered to the store in not more than a week. When a demand on a
certain product goes high, a change in the item’s investment plan would
happen to make sure that Circiutz can supply all the demands of the
customers.
Facilities
The ideal location of the store will be on an urban place where
people would go to when they have electronic-related needs. In that
location, a stock room together with the store itself should be at least
400 square meters. An engineer would plan the structure of the building
for it to be well built, and for it to be legalized by law when it comes to
its structural form. Safety measures will be greatly incorporated in the
building’s structure like sprinklers, CCTV Cameras, locks etc.
Staffing
A contracting for employees will also be done right after their
training or orientation just to get the persons who are capable for each
job. For the staff of the store that passes the training, they would have
their own closets for their personal belongings and a comfort room for
not only the employees necessities but also for the customers.
Supplies
The inventory of the store’s products both in the store and in the
stock room will be managed by a maintainer oriented by the manager to

arrange each product in the manager’s own liking. The products should
be arranged in a manner that would keep it from getting defects and
should also be arranged in a way that would lessen the product’s
damages in case a disaster or an incident happens. customer’s
