The following 2 pages can be used to file an in lieu filing in all states besides New York.

If you are filing in New York then use the set for New York not this set!

Instructions:
1) Print a copy of the needed pages.
2) Fill in the date line in box 8 from your original filing.
Example: March 8th 2020
3) Using a search engine search for the state you want to file your In Lieu filing into..
Example: Ohio UCC Filing Cost
4) Take note of the cost of filing fees for the state.
5) Take not of the cost.
6) Get a money order for the proper amount in filing fees.
7) Mail off the forms & money order preferably with tracking (Priority Mail) to ucc
filing division.

Do note if you are not filing in one of the regional filing locations (New York, Iowa, Florida,
Colorado, or Kansas) then we can not guarantee that your in lieu filing will be accepted.
