Wilmont’s Pharmacy Drone Case

Project Description A drone based medicine delivery system is to be prepared by Dronetech for Wilmont Pharmacy
Project Purpose The project serves the purpose of swift medicine delivery which almost significance during
calamities, n inaccessible remote localities and during other medical emergencies
Scope/boundaries Dronetech will prepare medicine delivery drones and will test it´s feasibility and realibility for
period of 2 months before actual launch of product.
Requirements 1. IT interfaces: Create a single system controlled by both companies.
2. Quality Control: A system wich ensures both good quantitative and qualitative
services.
3. Training: Must be made to ensure that standard operating procedures are being
followed.
Deliverables/Objective Mobile Application that be user-friendly. Aside from customer ease of access, the application
must ensure that both companies will be able to
integrate their significant individual functionalities.
IT Interface logistics system It´ll be able to monitor the flight operations that
keeps a through record of the control and
management of the drone delivery system
Technical/ Support Group With this the customers may be abe to electronically
monitor or send their concerns and feedbacks
through emails or hotlines
Temperature-controlled product packing Ensure the quality of the products are remained high
system on the course the delivery process
Four new drones Engineered to withstand external forces and is
marked with Wilmont´s trademark logo.
Schedule The project shall begin its trial operation by the 5th of August and the last customer delivery
should take place on the 5th of October.
Budget Around $780,000
Assumptions and 1. The service is exclusive only for those customers residing in the San

Transactions are done purely using their smartphones.
2. Customers living in apartment buildings are prohibited to participate in this
service due to limitation with the delivery process.
3. Resources are assumed 100% available for immediate dispatch.
Risks 1.The total cost for the development of the prototype system exceeds the allocated
budget.

3. Inactive willingness and participation of the San Francisco community for the trial
project.
