Comment/s: Bach is always open to suggestions and does his best to improve his weaknesses.
His oral reading (pronunciation and enunciation) has improved. Also, even if he makes
grammatical errors, this doesn’t stop him in communicating with his classmates/friends and
teacher. He needs to work on his grammar, though. We are going to deal with this one next
term.

Comment/s: Anna has never lost her eagerness to learn. In fact, she takes notes/ highlights all
the new words she encounters in our lessons. Also, I am always fascinated by the way she reads
orally. Furthermore, she always shows confidence in conveying her ideas. We need to work on
her listening, though. Overall, she is a valuable student in our class.

Comment/s: Jim needs more time to improve his English skills, especially his grammar.
Encouraging him to read more grammar books is helpful. When it comes to his speaking,
although he’s having a difficult time conveying his thoughts/ ideas, he always participates in
class discussion, and I commend him for that.

Comment/s: Steve hates losing, that’s why he always does his best in class. He always
participates in class discussion no matter what the topic is. Another good thing about him is
that he seeks help whenever he thinks he has a problem with his skills and asks for extra work
when he thinks he needs to improve more on a specific skill.
