1.Why did you enroll this subject?

- I chose to enroll this subject because I believe this subject is the fundamental of Life & liberty. It is
intellectually challenging me and which I can learn a lot and help me to improve my insights about
Justice, rights and understanding of human behavior and society

2.Is this a just subject without bearing? Why or why not? Justify your answers.

-Yeah, indeed. Since it gives me a lot of insights about law and focuses them on our country's legal
system.

3.What is the rationale of RA 7722?

-The Higher Education Act of 1994, also known as Republic Act No. 7722, was signed into law on May 18,
1994. The Commission abolished the Department of Higher Education and confined the Department of
Education's authority to the elementary and secondary levels of education.

4. What is the rationale of RA 8292?

-The Higher Education Modernization Act of 1997, or Republic Act No. 8292, empowers state
universities and colleges in the Philippines to engage in corporate activities in order to raise revenue.

5. Give salient points of RA 7722 which are enhanced under RA 8292

-Higher Education Modernization Act of 1997, also known as Republic Act No. 8282, was passed in 1997
to create a full, sufficient, and integrated system of higher education. In order to achieve a more
coordinated system of Higher Education, the Said Law also modified and made uniform the composition
of the Governing Boards of chartered state universities and colleges around the country and make them
more effective in the formulation and implementation of higher education policies, provide more
relevant direction in their governance, and ensure that academic freedom is exercised as guaranteed by
the constitution.

7. Briefly present the biography of that President.

-Fidel V. Ramos, the 12th President of the Philippines (1992–1998), is remembered for steadfastly
promoting the principles of people empowerment and global competitiveness. In 1993, he put an end to
the power crisis that crippled Filipino homes and industries for two years. He pursued, focused and
converged programs to fight poverty in accordance with the will of the Filipino people expressed by 229
structural/reform laws enacted by Congress during his term. The Philippine economy recovered
dramatically during the years 1993–1997. Ramos implemented a comprehensive Social Reform Agenda
(SRA) that addressed the long-standing problem of poverty: jobs and livelihood, health, education and
skills training, housing, environmental protection, children and the youth, the elderly and the
handicapped, agrarian reform, and access to equal opportunity. The country's Gross National Product
(GNP) averaged 5 percent annually. Average income of the Filipino family grew larger during his
administration than in the preceding two decades. He pushed for the deregulation of key industries and
the liberalization of the economy. He encouraged the privatization of public entities, to include the
modernization of public infrastructure through an expanded Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) law.

8. To this stage, are you very sure of your course? or you would like to shift to another course instead?

- In this point that I am now in a Half way stage of my course and for almost 3 years I seriously sure of
my course I gained a lot of knowledge that I will apply and help me when when I'm on a field and for a
future.

9. Do you believe this course will help boost your morale as student? State your reasons.

-Yes. I believe that this course would help me to boost ny morals as student to understand and by having
a lot of learnings that will help me to apply in the future

10. What possible employment later you would like to be applied for?

- If God given me a chance to be a teacher and passed me in the LET exam I will continue or pursuing to
become a teacher I want to be a model of inspiration to the youth that help them to motivate and
aspired them to a better person.
