No. | Rev. | Page Plan/ Procedure for Existing | CSP-E-41 | o1 | 1of 5 Swgr S-301 @ SS #40, New Substation & RIC Loop Residential Buildings 1.0 20 PURPOSE To develop guidelines for the shutdown of the existing switchgear SG-301 at substation # 40, installation of new breakers, excavation/backfiling of trench, Insertion, installation, termination, control & MV cables for new Substation and new RIC Loop. Testing and commissioning. All works shall be in accordance with the procedures, methods and safety requirements as defined and stated in this method of statement. ‘SCOPE OF WORK 2a Work includes but is not limited to the following: ‘Shutdown of the double ended switchgear $40-SG-301 at existing Substation 40. Shutdown shall be scheduled one end at a time, Request of Shutdown shall be conveyed to SAPMT for approval Installation of circuft breakers and termination of cables to existing space at cubicle 8307 at left end, and cubicle B316 at right end for the RIC loop 1, Termination of cables to existing breakers at cubicle B305 at left end and cubicle 8312 at right end for the new substation loop. Perform insulation and high pot test for the cables, Perform testing for the new circuit breakers and protection relays. Testing and termination of cables shall be performed by S, Aramco ‘approved third party agency and certified cable splicers/terminators Pre commissioning and testing of the breakers and protection relays shall be performed by S. Aramco approved third party agency that have expertise in this line of work and have done similar work before. Third party agency shall be submitted earlier for S. Aramico approval before any work can be started, Request of Power up for the 2 new loops.
