Activities shall be in accordance with the procedure, methods and safety requirements as defined and stated in this method statement, manufacturer's procedure on hollow core and siporex to be considered. SCOPE 2.4 Coordination of Coring activities with other services. 2.2. Excavation of the area coverage. 2.3 Scaffolding assembly for the elevated activities. 2.4 Repair of rebar. 2.5 Core sealing. SAFETY PRECAUTIONS 3.1. Execute the work in accordance with the approved method statement, 3.2 Supervising in-charge in this work shall be at site during the execution of the work. 3.3. Standard barricades and sufficient signboards shall be provided. 3.4 Personnel directly involved in the activity shall use personal protective equipment (PPE). 3.5 Apply shoring protective system when it’s necessary, as per SACSM-2.10.3 3.6 Provision of scaffolds shall utilize if needed. EXECUTION 4.1 Layout the core where to be place as per IFC Drawing cross reference. -2 Excavate the area or erect scaffolds where coring shall be done. 4.3 Set up the core machine. 4.4 Check any unsafe conditions before to start the core machine. 4.5. Check any obstruction to coring activities and remove. 4.6 Start coring. 4.7 Avoid from any damages the main rebar of any civil masonry structure. 4.8 After coring check for any exposed rebar and recoat. 4.9 _ Install the line ( Telecom ) 4.10. Upon installation of the services ( Telecom ) immediately cover/seal it with approved materials. 4,11.
