Voici les instructions par rapport aux donnees que vous m'avez indiqué, j'ai traduit en Anglais les symptômes que
vous m'avez donne et Siemmens m'a répondu ce qui suit. cependant tout est en Anglais, je peux vous traduire si ceci
est nécessaire. J'espère que ceci vous résoudra le souci.

Ok so I have worked with my Engineer and here is what he wants you to have them do.

· First of all serial # 970400710 seems to be working properly from the description below:

“CDU serial number 970400710 they are not able to "arm" it with the EOT. When we turn on the EOT to arm the CDU there
is very fast blinking and it turns off as if it was doing a COM test.”
I am listing the instructions here (below) for the arming process so can you have them to follow these instructions and
see if it works on this particular unit?

To arm a V3465 to an EOT the process below must be followed.

1. Press the COMM TEST / ARM button on the V3465 to establish

communications between UUT and AAR EOT device.

2. Verify the DOT Matrix display on the V3465 reads “COMM TEST PASS”.

3. Press the START / ARM button on the AAR EOT device.

4. Verify the DOT Matrix display on the V3465 reads “ARM NOW”. (I think
this might be what they are seeing when they say it is very fast blinking and turns off. The
ARM NOW message is only displayed for about 5 seconds. If the unit is not armed within
this 5 second window the process must start over with a com test.)

5. Press COMM TEST / ARM button on V3465 while the display is

displaying “ARM NOW”.

6. Verify the DOT Matrix display on the V3465 reads “…* ARMED *”.

7. Verify the GREEN EMERG ENABLED LED is ON.

· Now on serial # 970400709, he is not sure about it. If it is not powering then there is cabling problem or there
is a hardware problem with the V3465 unit. Can they use the same cabling on both to verify that it is not a cable
issue with the 970400709?

Please let us know what they find from these results.
