READING
I met three young people, Jade, Seb and Raphael, who completed an activity
called the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award. They have to walk, cycle or swim across
the countryside and camp outside at night.
SEB: My team walked through the National Park. We had to cross a lake
but some of us could not swim. So we sailed across. When we got to the
other side, we camped in a forest for a night. It is a place I know because I
have stayed there before. You must not make fires there so we had
sandwiches for dinner. It rained in the night but we were dry in our tents.
