I. OBJECTIVES:
At the end of the discussion students are expected to:

Differentiate between heat and temperature at the molecular level;

Motivation
-The teacher will let one student to get an object inside the chalk box while the rest of the
class will guess what it is. (THERMOMETER) Ask the student if they have any idea on how to
use it? Where to use it?
Discussion
-The teacher will discuss the heat and temperature, the effects of heat on the body, and heat
and temperature at the molecular level using Thermometer.
Application
-Let the student group into 2. Each group will get the body temperature of their member
using a thermometer.
Generalization
-Ask students if what they learn from the topic.
IV. EVALUATION
Get heat of the body using thermometer in at least five people, discuss the effects of heat on the
body and differentiate between heat and temperature at the molecular level.
V. AGREEMENT/ASSIGNMENT
Research the different types of thermometer and its definition.
