Emerson has helped lead

adoption of CO2 in
warmer climates.
Sprouts Farmers Market sought to improve the
sustainability of a new store location in Atlanta by exploring
the potential of a refrigeration strategy based on using CO2
as a refrigerant. Regional operators worked with Emerson
and one of our partners to develop a specialized
refrigeration system that improved the effectiveness of CO2
in Georgia’s warm climates. This proof-of-concept system
has since led to the continued adoption of CO2 in other
business applications, specifically in warmer climates.
