Dear Sir,

We, Siemens Bangladesh Limited a Subsidiary of Siemens AG, Germany, Manufacturer of

Protection Relays, having factories at Berlin, Germany, warrants that all Relays to be supplied
under this proposal shall be new and free of defects in workmanship and materials and shall
be new and have the kind and quality specified in the technical specification. If within the
Period as per GCC 33 from the date of acceptance of the goods, the purchaser discovers any
defects in workmanship and or materials and notifies the supplier in writing then the supplier
shall with all reasonable speed remedy such defects of non-conformance to the specific
action at his own expense by adjustment, repair or replacement at the option of the
purchaser, and is such case the warranty period shall be extended by another Period as GCC
Clause 33 from the repair/replacement of defect item.
