Theme: A Guide to Build a Superteam

a. General Description
Organizational theory is the study of how organizations carry out their functions and
how they influence and are influenced by the people who work in them or the society in
their sphere of work. Organizational theory is a consequence, views, reviews, teachings,
opinions or approaches to solving organizational problems to be more successful in
achieving predetermined goals. Problems are everything that has to do with the interests
of the organization that require solving and decision making. Thus organizational
problems require solving and decision making. There are many problems faced by
organizations (complex) and require separate solutions so that various studies have
emerged to better understand organizational effectiveness.

According to Goerge R. Terry and Leslie W. Rue, it is argued that: Management is a

process or framework, which involves the guidance or direction of a group of people
towards organizational goals or real purposes. In particular, organizational management
has two main tasks, namely effectiveness and efficiency, where:
 Effective is to do the right something. Where effective is the achievement of goals or
targets.
 Efficiens is to do the something right. while efficient is a way of achieving these goals
or targets by minimizing expenditure or waste
So that in running the wheels of the organization using as little resources as possible but
achieving maximum goals.

This event has a major timeline as follows:

b. Study case sessions of the participants
c. Questions session from the participants.
d. Conclusion and summary will be presented by the moderator.

c. Participants
Participants include Diponegoro University students who are interested about learning and
developing organizational management skill.

d. Goal of Material
We hope that the material given by speakers will help the participants to know more about:

b. SPE's impact in college life
2. Organization Managment
a. Organizational management basics
b. Effective organizational management

e. Duration
The speaker will get 60 minutes to present their material, 25 minutes for a study case and 20
minutes for a question and answer session.
