SOCIOLOGY VS POLITICAL SCIENCE
• Sociology is the scientific study of human
behavior, relationships, values and society.
• Sociology is important for humans to
understand how social systems work. It helps them
to understand social problems, both individually
and as a society.
 The students of sociology are called
sociologists. Auguste Comte is known to
be the father of it.
SOCIOLOGY VS ECONOMICS
• Sociology is the scientific study of human

understand how social systems work. It helps them
to understand social problems, both individually
and as a society.

 Political science is the study of political
systems and principles such as
governments and democracy etc.
 Political science is important as it helps in
governance and setting up institutions for
public. It helps in policy making and also in
dealing with conflicts, domestically and
internationally.

political science.
 Economics is the study of factors of
production, consumption of resources and
its allocation.
 Economics is important as resources are
scarce and better allocation of it is very
necessary. It helps us in fulfilling our needs
and wants both individually and as a
country. It gives us the understanding of
supply and demand.
 Adam Smith is known to be the founder of
Economics. The students of economics are
called Economists.
