Sikacem®-810
Reactive bonding agent and mortar improver

Product
Waterproof reactive synthetic polymer dispersion, with silica fume.
Description
Construction

Uses Sikacem ®-810 reactive mortar improver is particularly suitable for the following
applications:
 Improving the performance of rendering mixes, repair and patching mortars.
 In bonding slurries
 As a hardener and dustproofer for cement screeds and floorings that are
subject to heavy wear
 In bedding mortars
Characteristics / Sikacem ®-810 contains finely dispersed Silica Fume which reacts with calcium
Advantages hydroxide — a by-product of cement hydration — to increase the overall proportion
of set cement in the mortar, resulting in the following benefits:
 Improved bond strength
 Increased workability
 Significantly higher flexural, tensile and compressive strengths
 Greater resistance to wear and abrasion
 Stability of green mortar significantly increased
 Improved impermeability to water
 Increased resistance to chemical attack
 More dense and uniform surface finish to mortars, toppings and renderings
 Non-corrosive (will not attack steel reinforcing)
