It is factual that COVID-19 became a threat to economic development of the country. Based on
the perceptions of Filipinos to the economic activity of the Philippines, they gave points that affect the
country’s recent economic development and thoughts on what and how should the government act
according to the situation. Thus, result to economic recovery and development. Economic recovery state
that an economy undergoes a process of economic adaptation and adjustment to new conditions and
considering the factors that triggered the situation. By adapting to the new normal and making progress
while moving forward to economic recovery, the country heals itself from the damage caused by the
pandemic.
