Identify the following women in the bible. In no more than 200 hundred words, write an essay on
“Women in the Bible”. Be able to identify what makes them unforgettable women in the Holy
Book.

The story of Eve was found in the first book of the bible. She was created by God
through taking Adam’s ribs, who later on became his husband. Eve possessed the qualities of
being weak in faith, she was tempted by a serpent to eat the fruit of the forbidden tree of life and
even shared it to Adam. They have break the rule of God so they were expelled from the Garden
of Eden. Another unforgettable woman is Mary Magdalene who was among Jesus’s early
followers and had witnessed His crucifixion and burial. The unchallenged facts about her life
establish that Jesus cleansed her of seven demons. Then, another important woman mentioned in
the bible is Mary of Jesus. Jesus was conceived within her by the Holy Spirit  when she was
a virgin. Ruth the Moabite also shows an interesting rule in the bible. She is a woman who after
being widowed remains with her husband’s mother. Moreover, a woman named Esther became
unforgettable for being an orphan who grew up to be a courageous queen, saving Israel from
annihilation. Furthermore, Herodias in the Bible is notorious for being the woman who desired
John the Baptist’s head on a platter. She was the unlawful wife of the tetrarch Herod Antipas and
had formerly been the wife of Herod’s brother, Philip. Another woman mentioned is Potiphar’s
wife, she tries to seduce Joseph, but he staunchly refuses her advances for he is very loyal and
faithful to God. Lastly the story of Delilah is one of the most unforgettable also when she cut off
Samson’s hair that made him lost his strength.
