This line graphs shows the rate at which world’s economic development during the 15
years from 1990 to 2005. The figures are given as number of people living below $1,25 a day
viewed from several continents.
Overall, the world's economic developments are improving quite a bit as the graph shows
a decline that means fewer people are living on $1.25 a day. Nearly 1600 million people in the
world experienced an economic improvement in 2015. The figure for DC without China is the
highest, reaching 1200 million people living with a net worth of less than $1.25 a day. South Asia
occupies the position with almost 800 million people. With the lowest position, namely Africa
and East Asia with a figure of only less than 400 million people.
If you look at this chart, you will understand the development of the world economy has
increased during this period. The most visible change is in East Asia where the graph has dropped
to an extreme lower than 400 million people. It is different with DC without China with the
addition of numbers from 1990 to 2002, but there was a slight decrease to 1200 million people in
2005. Bad things happened in South Asia and Africa, which actually experienced
underdevelopment of the economy with a graph that slowly showed an increase in the number of
people living under $1.25 a day.
With unpredictable economic conditions every year it will be very interesting to pay
attention to economic developments in this world. Even so, we all hope that along with the
development of the times, the level of the world economy will also continue to increase in order
to be able to keep up with it.

Let's look at the bar chart above, in September 2020, the Head of the Indonesian
Communications Division. The Motorcycle Industry Association (AISI) Sigit Kumala said the
decline in sales in 2020 had reached 45 percent. The volume of motorcycle sales in the domestic
market in May 2020 decreased in May 2020.
In that month, each motorcycle sales amounted to only 120 thousand. In fact, the sales
volume of motorcycles in the first month of this year was in the range of 400-500 thousand units.
A similar decline occurred in the volume of motorcycle exports. In April and May 2020, only
10.4 thousand units and 5.7 thousand units were shipped to overseas markets. This number is very
different from January-March 2020, with an export volume of around 60-80 thousand units each
month. The volume of motorcycles, both sold in the domestic and export markets, during April
2020 or during the period of social restrictions (PSBB) was 87% compared to the same period
the previous year.
It is concluded, another major factor influencing motorcycle sales is the prudent attitude
of financial institutions in providing credit. To improve motorcycles, efforts need to be made to
attract consumers, such as by selling and designing new motorcycles. The following are things to
consider for marketing (from a seller's point of view):
1. Place strategy
2. Quality products
