So, it’s important to develop both speaking and listening skills in order to
communicate effectively.
Vocabulary
When we understand what a certain word means, we can check what the word
or sentence means.
This is very important for us in this case we as students so that we can have a
conversation in our English classes with teachers or with other classmates.
Grammar:
We need grammar not only for written language, but it is also very important for spoken
language, such as understanding verb tenses and the correct way to structure
sentences. Grammar helps us convey information in a way that the listener recognizes
and understands.
Pronunciation
Much of this comes from phonemic awareness. This involves understanding the
small units that make up spoken language. Phonetics is where we as students
begin to see the relationship between the sounds of spoken language and
graphemes, which are the letters and spellings that represent the sounds in
written language.
Fluency
Reading a lot (and out loud) is a good way to improve fluency, as it helps us to
have a new vocabulary and reinforces your knowledge of spoken language.
Speaking skills as they are one of the most important skills we learn, since they
allow us to communicate with others and express our thoughts and feelings. as
I mentioned at the beginning of the presentation.
Activities
The first activity tries to remember some pleasant event that you have had at
school, the idea of these two exercises is that they respond in a very natural
way between us since having group conversations helps us to improve our
accent and pronunciation and to expand our vocabulary.
who would you like to ask that question
This activity is based on choosing two options that we give them in the prayer
and they have to choose which of those two they prefer.
This game gives us the possibility to speak aloud and express the ideas
you have to explain us why you chose that option and not the other one and
achieve discussions with our classmates
