I would like to take this opportunity to share with you all, my deepest gratitude for my time

spent working here at_________. In 30 years, I had always been grateful to the realizations, learnings,
good and bad experiences, that indeed, helped me grow as a teacher and as a person.

Those, of course, would not be all possible without my dear students, co-teachers/colleagues,
and of course the administrators that I had encountered in the past years of my teaching.

From year ______ up to this year, “ang dami kong natutunan at ang dami ko pang natututunan”
and this, I believe is something that I would always be thankful of. I would always bring all these things
in anywhere I go, in whatever I do, and whomever I am with.

But there are certain things that would surely stand out in my mind and my heart as I look back
at the past 30 years of teaching here at ________; and that is ________________________________.

(All of us in this knows that we don’t go into teaching to make a lot of money (no one gets rich
of being a teacher, right?) - we go into teaching to make a difference to the students we are teaching;
we guide them in accomplishing their goals and become whoever they want to be in this world.) When
we have passion for teaching, seeing our students succeed in life is also a success for us.

After this school year is a new beginning for me, a new journey, the time everyone calls
“retirement”. A time where I can do some of the activities that I always wanted to do. To go to places
that I always wanted to reach. But, for sure, it would be a difficult transition for me, as teaching has
been a passion for me all these years. Well, yes, it is inevitable for me not to miss teaching once I retire.
But this is life!.....

And I would also like to take this moment to thank you all.

I want to thank, from the bottom of my heart, you-__________, the guidance and
encouragement that you gave me is truly helpful as I will take a new path of my
journey.__________thank you for your kindness and generosity. To my co-teachers and to all auxiliary
personnel, thank you for the trust and support, I assure you that your next years of stay here would
always be meaningful and graceful, just always be firm and confident.

I would also like to thank my family/children, who had always been there to support me. They
are my inspiration and they are one of the reasons why I stayed here for 30-year long.

So, thank you all, once again, for all your support and well wishes.
