REVIEW of LITERATURE
2.1 Meaning of the Literature Review
Going through previous study and books with the purpose of knowing the research
issue’s in detail and find out appropriate methodology is known as literature review.
(Research Literature Reviews: From Internet to Paper, by Arlene Fink, 2nd ed.
Perception towards hospital and with their work, it is found that most of the
employees are satisfied. In each and every criterion like job satisfaction, their
value in the organization and out of all, the most important is that the

and abilities.
97 percent of respondents felt adequate private time for self and family was
available.
Only 63 percent of employees thought that credit for work well done was
given timely.
CHAPTER 3
RESEARCH METHODOLOGY
Out of all these research designs, this project report uses descriptive research
design, which is used to study the subject of research in detail and to explain the
facts and features related to the research problem.
Primary Data
Data that has been collecting by the researcher himself/herself as per the
objective of the project is known as primary data. It means someone
collected the data from the original source i.e. first hand.
Secondary data
A researcher uses the data developed by others in the past for their own
purpose is known as secondary data. In this research, the secondary data are
used.
The analysis of the data is based on the nature of primary data. Under the study,
primary data are collected from questionnaire.
The sources of data are the sources from where researchers obtain the data.
The sources of data depend upon the nature of data. Primary data have primary
sources and secondary data have secondary sources. Generally sources of data are
of two types.
Primary sources
Secondary sources
Out of these two sources, the analysis of study is based on primary source which are
obtained from questionnaire.
3.4) Decision of Sample
This report is based on judgmental sampling which is one of the types of non-
probability sampling. It is a method where sample are selected by the researcher
based on his /her interest and convience.
Data collection refers to searching the required or necessary data for the
project work. Data collection procedure is the steps that are followed to gather the
required data. There are two procedures to collect the data. They are:
In this project work, the researcher has taken the data through primary data
collection procedure i.e. questionnaire.
Data processing is the act of refining and manipulating the items of data that
produce meaningful information. Data processing includes sorting, grouping and
tabulating.
Sorting refers to the separating the needed data from many data.
Tabulating refers to the process of arranging data in a systematic manner into rows
and columns.
In this project work, researcher has included grouping and tabulating for data
processing.
Data analytical tools are the means that a researcher uses for analysis and
presenting the data. Analytical tools may be financial, statistical or mathematical.
But the design used for this project is mathematical i.e. percentage (%).
There are different data interpretation techniques that are used in any
research. But only three techniques are used in this report.
Chapter 4
This is a prime part of the research work. This chapter has been prepared
by applying the stated research methodology in the chapter three. Whatever
required data the researcher has obtained, have been presented in tables and
graphs in the most simplified and understandable form. For the analysis and
interpretation purpose, the suitable mathematical tool that is percentage has been
used. Basically, this chapter includes the following:
Table 4.1.1

The table above shows that 30% of the respondents have 7 years of
experience, whereas 20% of them have 6 years of experience. Likewise 15% of
respondents have 2 years and 5 years of experience each. However 5% of
respondents have 2 months, 1 year, 3 years and 4 years of experience each. This
means the maximum working experience of employees is 7 years.

The researcher understood from this is that overall factors are adequate to
satisfy the employees but the hospital has to take some measures to satisfy
the unsatisfied employees.

The above table shows that 30% of the respondents rated 7 to the hospital as
a place to work on whereas 25% of them rated 8. Likewise 15% of the respondents
rated 9 to the hospital and 10% of the respondents rated 10 and 6 each. However
5% of the respondents rate 2 and 4 each to the hospital as a place to work on.

issue’s in details and find out appropriate methodology.
Next, the study brings the concept of research methodology. The chapter deals
about the methodology that is used for this report. It talks about research design,
sources of data sampling technique, data processing tools and techniques etc. This
study uses the descriptive research design and based on primary data. Convenience
sampling technique is used for this report and mathematical tools are used for data
analysis.
Lastly the fourth chapter revolves around the data presentation, analysis and
findings of the study. In this chapter, tables are used to present and analyze the
data.
5.2 CONCLUSION
This report examines the job satisfaction of Vayodha Hospital’s employees. The
overall results are satisfactory for the employees. But in some cases Vayodha
Hospital should take certain step to improve their services and facilities. Therefore
some recommendations are being put forward for its improvement along with the
development of the organization. Based on the analysis of the data and findings, the
following conclusions are made.
Some of the employees are not able to balance their work life and personal
life. So, the hospital should provide more flexible time.
Management of the hospital is not able to respond to some problems and
thoughts of employees. So, management should be more responsive.
Training has not been promotional criteria of the hospital. So, it should also
be one of the criteria for promotion.
The hospital somehow has fairness in performance evaluation system but it
can be improved more.
Although the hospital is able to satisfy the employees in large portion, some
employees have suggested some measures to improve like increase salary,
workload reduction, time management, good relation between employers
and employees, bring new policies and no discrimination.
