CHAPTER-1

CAUSES AND CONSEQUENCES OF CHILD LABOR IN PAKISTAN

INTRODUCTION:-

Today Pakistan is facing a lot of problem but some are very common, which are
destroying over society and also economy of Pakistan. Like Child Labor, Poverty,
Population Growth, Literacy, Terrorism, Smuggling, Drugs abuse etc. Today Child labor
in Pakistan is a most prominent issue of all the social issues. Although this is a child's
job, the pay and happiness of many poor families is one of Pakistan's basic social
problems. Pakistan has the largest young work force in the world. According to the
UNICEF 2012 GOB exam, a total of 6.3 million children work in Pakistan. The child's
work designer disassembles the off spring. Poverty breeds the humbleness of young
people’s work. Poor guardians help their young people work hard to raise family
salaries. If a child starts working from the beginning and does not have the space to go
to class, we will step by step limit the potential of the country's several favored classes
in the country.

Before autonomy, after the Pakistani government and freedom, the Pakistani
government ordered the control of the youth business. In this way, the Pakistani
government has made a strategic commitment to the issue of children’s rights.
Regardless of these strategic measures, ensure that these strategies are implemented
and that they continue to meet their responsibilities. The work of young people can have
a negative impact on the economic development of a country. Since teenagers are
considered to be paid workers, poor families welcome more children, which helps to
increase the development of the population. This has thus delayed the improvement of
the country's society and currency.

The child's work expands in several different ways. Many companies tend to work for
young people, mainly because it is modest and has no obligations. Because of the
economic desires and the unreachability of schools near schools, many children are just
busy with these professions, so they want to do business rather than conduct business.
Lack of education and guardian emotionlessness is also an important part. These
guardians do not believe that Tektronix work is hateful. Whether in the agricultural
sector or in the non-horticultural sector, Tektronix must work longer hours than adult
workers. All reports from the Global Work Association on Children's Work, BBS and
BILS also show that the wages paid to children are very low.

The basic factors common in child labor are huge poverty, loafers and the interest of
companies for low-cost access to experts. In some processing plants, young people
work longer hours, work conditions are poor, compensation is lower, business is
dangerous and related to words. There is no doubt that the evil of child labor reflects the
extraordinary needs of guardians and gatekeepers. There are many Tektronix workers
in Pakistan who work in several departments. According to the 2002-2003 National
Youth Work Review, which was guided by the Pakistan Insights Department with the
help of the Global Work Association/Tektronix End of Life Program, there are 7.5 million
financial activities among the 42.39 million mature children aged 5 to 17. In Pakistan,
3.18 million of them are considered to be working in large numbers - accounting for
7.5% of the entire collective population. The provincial youth conference was held in
mid-2001 to educate the press. Pakistan has 6.3 million child laborers and is used by
300 divisions. In these offices, the sum of the 47 departments is the most dangerous
job. The Children’s Work Act (2006) prohibits the work of children under the age of 14 in
certain dangerous occupations.
In Pakistan, child work has recently become more visible and sharp. This is why the
global network is increasingly worried about the upcoming situation. Work gatherings
are considered a noble issue, but the work of young people is seen as a shame for the
country. Because the child is the fate of a country, if young people are wasted in
physical labor and meet the requirements of the family. If adolescents are deprived of
the right to receive training and different benefits, they will not lead the country in the
future. The work of young people is a sad fact of today's urban communities and
mechanical social order. This is the fall of mankind and the joke of our development and
progress.

Pakistan is one of the most powerless countries on the planet. Almost always Pakistan
is a victim of a catastrophic event. As a whole, we realize that catastrophic events have
caused tremendous harm, and individuals have proved to be completely powerless. The
recent tropical storms in Pakistan, especially in 1960, 63, 66, 70, 91 and 2001, were
very bad. Many families are affected by catastrophic events. The descendants of these
families will undoubtedly participate in the work of young people.
