DECORATIVE SCREEN INSTALLATION STEPS

1. PERFORATE ALUMINUM DECORATIVE SCREEN BACK SIDE

WITH BLIND HOLES AT DECIDED LOCATIONS.

2. PERFORATE ALUMINUM ANODIZED SHEET AT LOCATION

EXACTLY SIMILAR TO THE ALUMINUM DECORATIVE SCREEN
BACK SIDE PERFORATION.

3. PERFORATE ALUMINUM ANODIZED SHEET CENTER ZONE

FOR THE SELF ADJUSTING OF THE BACK INFILLS GUIDE PIN.

4. PERFORATE ALUMINUM ANODIZED SHEET EXACTLY AT THE

CENTER OF THE STAR SHAPE LOCATION EXISTING IN THE
ALUMINUM DECORATIVE SCREEN LOCATIONS.

5. THREADING AND TAPPING BACK ALUMINUM DECORATIVE

SCREEN BLIND HOLES M5 SIZE.

6. SPLICE THE ALUMINUM INFILLS TO THE ALUMINUM

ANODIZED SHHET FACING BY MEAN OF EPOXY ADHESIVE.

7. FASTENING ALUMINUM ANODIZED SHEET TO THE ALUMINUM

DECORATIVE SCREEN BACK SIDE WITH PHILIPS HEAD
STAINLESS STEEL SCREW M5x5.

8. INSTALLING THE ASSEMBLED PANELS TO THE DOOR SKIN

WITH SELF TAPPING STAINLESS STEEL SCREWS THROUGH
THE HOLES MADE IN THE CENTERS OF THE STARS SHAPE
LOCATIONS.

9. SPLICE THE ALUMINUM STAR SHAPE CAP CUTTED FROM

ALUMINUM ANODIZED SHEET WITH SILICONE ADHESIVE IN
ORDER TO COVER THE SELF TAPING SCREWS HEAD.

3. Submit manufacturer& applicator warranties, from date of substantial completion, addressed to

Process 3 Coloring. Polycolor 75, Electro coloring bath.
Process 4 Post-anodizing. Polytoxal ST 96, Hot sealing bath additive.

Please find the following comments:-

1. Final approval of proposed anodizing system is based on approved site Mock-up.
2. Anodizing Manufacturer is required to submit certification that thickness of anodize coating
(0.025mm) is suitable for service condition as per specs 05730 item 2.18.D.3.
3. As per required before, the contractor is required to submit PVDF paint system with all related
coats/data sheets in a separate submittal
4. Contractor to follow Manufacturer method of statement for application.
5. manufacturer warranty, to be submitted from date of substantial completion date of project, not
from delivery date, Addressed to service building, Shamyia project, Including Alum material defects
in addition of anodizing coloring defects.
