1. Dashboard

2. Main Features

a. Equipment: Manage/Search
You can view their site(s) or do a quick search. Expand using left hand navigation tree (or in main body of Equipment list)

n Site Structure with Department(s).

n Site Details. Basic account information.

n Services. As new services are added/offered, you can see what is available e.g. Lab testing, Lube Survey, LA Lite

n Report Subscriptions. See which users are subscribed to email reports.

n Attachments. You can add own attachments at customer and or site levels (manuals, pictures etc.)

You can also add new:

n Department(s)

n Equipment/Components,

n Generate sample point labels or;

n Export list of equipment and components to excel spreadsheet

b. Ordering: Place Order and My Orders


n Place Order: Depending on user type, orders can be placed for sampling materials using the order screen.
Select item(s) from list of materials available.

n My Orders: displays orders and their status

c. Sampling
n Track Samples: You can track progress of new samples through Shell LubeAnalyst and view historic samples.
The easiest way for you to register samples is through Send Samples option or on the new LubeAnalyst Mobile App

n Send Samples: You register samples to send to the lab for analysis.

n Advanced Search: You are able to search for samples using more specific or detailed search criteria.

d. Lubrication: Lube survey


n Lube Survey: If lube survey is an offered service, you can view existing Lube Surveys. If none are available, you receive the
message “No Lube Survey available currently, please contact your Shell representative.”

n Lube survey displays a list of all equipment and components registered in Shell LubeAnalyst from which samples are taken,
together with the lubricant in use.

e. Reports
’Reports’ tab takes you to two reports: the Sample Report Inbox and Sample/Material Activity Report.

n Sample Report Inbox displays details of current and historic samples and allows you to view sample reports.

n Sample/Material Activity Report lists sample and material order activity.

f. User Management
User Management: displays a list of active/inactive users.

n You are permitted to add new Users (depending upon permissions) or delete existing Users.

n Powerful way to see all associations and report subscriptions and manage in one location.

3. Track Samples

n You can track the progress of samples through Shell LubeAnalyst.

n The system does not currently have visibility of tracking via postal/courier service.

4. Document Attachment

n At site level, you can attach relevant documents which may assist in the sample diagnosis (user manuals, pictures etc).
