Course Description:
Technopreneurship is a philosophy, a way of building a career or
perspective in life. The course covers the value of professional and life
skills in entrepreneurial thought, investment decisions, and action that
students can utilize in starting technology companies or executing
R&D projects in companies as they start their careers. The net result is
a positive outlook towards wealth creation, high value adding, and
wellness in society.

Course Learning Outcomes:
The course should enable the student to:
1. Evaluate and define the market needs
2. Solicit and apply feedback from mentors, customers and
other stakeholders.
3. Experience the dynamics of participating on a business team,
4. Pitch a business plan for a technology idea,
5. Develop an initial idea into a “pretotype”.

Grading System:
Major Exam 20%
Project 80%
Class Policies:
1. No special examinations (quizzes, major exam) shall be given unless
there is a valid reason supported by valid document (e.g. medical
certificates, barangay certification etc.)
2. Submissions of outputs shall be done through schoology or email
only (or as per advised). Make sure your output is clear and
readable.
3. Everyone is encouraged to participate the online lectures.
Attendance will be checked before and after the every lecture.
4. Corresponding points will be deducted for late submission of
outputs. The equivalent points to be deducted are as follows:
Within 6 hours after the deadline = 20% of the total points
6-12 hours after the deadline = 50 % of the total points
After 12 hours = the output will no longer be accepted.
