Components of the Internal Scheme

1. Class Test (Online / Offline)

A Midterm Class tests will be conducted during the semester and the class test will be held as per
announced test schedule by the concerned subject faculty. Test will be conducted by the subject
faculty member in their scheduled lecture in the respective class room / Computer Lab/Online
Platform. Test schedule for ready reference will also be displayed and sent via email and their class
Whatsapp groups. Faculty members are requested to ensure smooth & timely conduction of test.

Faculty members must ask sufficient number of objective type questions in the case of online tests
to justify the marks while conducting the online test. Offline test will be consisted of either Multiple
Choice Questions or descriptive type questions if classes are started. Class coordinators are also
requested to ensure smooth and timely conduction of test.

Note: Students maintaining 75% or more attendance in respective subject will be allowed to
appear in the test.

2. Case(s) / Assignment(s) Submission, Presentation and Evaluation


Faculty members will discuss cases / assignments in each subject during the semester) with
Students. Students are required to submit write-up of case(s) / assignment(s) before / after the
discussion in the class (as applicable). Faculty members will evaluate presentation / write up of each
student and award the marks according to the scheme. Faculty members are requested to ensure
timely submission and presentation of cases / assignment by the students. Each case / assignment
will be evaluated by concerned faculty and selection of the case for discussion is the discretion of
the faculty member.
3. EML/Expert Talk
(EMLs will be organized by respective Faculty Members of their Subject)

To enhance the students’ knowledge, institute organizes Extra Mural Lectures (EML) regularly. In
order to motivate students to attend EML and to reward students who attend EML regularly, marks
for EML attendance will be provided in ratio of their EML attendance. Faculty member of each
subject is requested to organize minimum 2 and maximum 4 EML of their subject in the current
session.

4. Class Attendance: Dr. Sarfaraz Ansari (Coordinator)


Students are required to attend the classes regularly. Those who do not have the prescribed
attendance are liable to be detained from external examinations.
Faculty members are requested to bring this fact to the notice of students. In order to motivate
students to attend classes and to reward students who attend classes regularly, marks for attendance
will be awarded as per the following slab. Faculty members will be required to insert online
attendance on daily basis. Attendance marks will be calculated by software automatically for each
student and no manual calculation will be required.

5. Campus to Corporate Connect - C³ Cell (Coordinators: Dr. Gunjan Anand and Dr. Pallavi
J. Kapooria)

C³ Cell, which has been conceptualized for students to enhance their skills and facilitate them to
aspire for a successful corporate debut. The C³ Cell modules comprise of diverse curriculum for the
development of students personality and concepts. This professional development program in its
first stage concentrating on general awareness, conceptual clarity and GD & PI. Evaluation of the
program is at every stage through different modes. General awareness will be evaluated through
objective type online test. Conceptual clarity will be evaluated through a test comprising questions
(objective and subjective both). GD & PI will be tested through panel presentations.

6. Sectorial Analysis

Program Coordinators of each program are requested to ask students to submit a write-up based on
Sector wise Analysis on the heads of Introduction of Sector, SWOC, Suggestions, Conclusions and
References etc. (It is the discretion of concerned coordinator to amend the format of write-up)

7. MOOC (Online)/In-House Certification (Coordinators: Dr. Vipin Choudhary)

All the concerned students of MBA Full Time Program of II Semester will be required to undertake
any one MOOC (Massive Open Online Courses) certification course or In-House Certificate of at
least one week or 10 hours duration in specific area (Business Management (all disciplines) /
Computer / Communication / Personality Development / Digital Marketing / MS Excel etc.

Students will be required to submit their copy of certificate (please bring original certificate for
verification) to the MOOC coordinator on or before the end of semester. Students can submit any
certificate course (MOOC (Online) / Offline) offered by recognized University / Organization /
Institution / PIMR or any of its clubs of at least One Week or 10 Hours duration conducted during
the session 2020-21 (Between March 2021 to May 2021). MOOC coordinator will award marks for
an appropriate certificate (MOOC/Online/Offline).

8. Students Training - Daksh (Coordinator: Prof. Pranay Karnik)

Daksh – Employability skills training program. The program’s objective is to train students in
General Awareness, Sectoral specific knowledge and provide platform for practicing and honing
Group discussion and interview facing skills. Students Training under Daksh will be evaluated on
the basis of Group Discussion for II Semester Students and Personal Interview for IV Semester

Students of allied programs. Group Discussion/PI and Online quiz etc. on Current Affairs during the
semester as continuous evaluation of students.

9. Business Awareness Online Test: Prof. Prayatna Jain and Dr. Arpit Loya (Coordinators)
Students will be given newsletter on the current business scenario fortnightly through the students’
portal. Students have to go through newsletter properly and they will be evaluated on the basis of
MCQs (Multiple Choice Questions) which will be an online test.

10. Business Simulation: Dr. Tarun Kushwaha (Coordinator)


In Business simulation students will play simulation games to practice the management concepts
which they have learned in the class rooms. Business simulation is a virtual environment in which
players can build their own business, setting their own products, prices, research, advertising,
expansion and partners in a real time, multi-player environment.

11. Virtual Stock Trading (Coordinator: Dr. Varun Sarda)

The objective of the activity was to give a feel of real world stock trading to the students. It includes
strategies to invest in stocks, News analysis - It plays a critical role in deciding the stock's future, it
helps to make better decisions and judge the market sentiments. Technical analysis focuses on the
study of price and volume, it helps to capture the trend and trade accordingly.

12. Special Test


Special test will be conducted only for those students who have not appeared in the scheduled test
because of medical reason (Not for cough, cold, headache or fever for a day or two) or any
other genuine reason. The panel will decide the individual case of the student for allowing him/her
for special test. Special test will also be conducted at the end of the semester. The Maximum Marks
for Special Test will be reduced by 50% i.e. if the class test is worth 8 Marks then Special Test will
be out of 4 Marks only. The special test will be online test only.

 Students those who are appearing in counseling subjects and ATKT subject are requested to
contact the concern faculty members for their assignments and Test. Students under Placed
category will be considered who are:

1. Placed and joined during III Semester


2. Placed and joined before midterm test of IV

For such students the first test will be considered and marks obtained will be converted out of
Maximum 20 Marks and they will not be required to follow Placement category internal assessment
scheme in the particular subject. The placed and joined category students must contact respective
subject faculty member for their test and assignment. Placed and Joined Category Student should
complete their Internal Assessment of all the subjects before joining the organization.
15. Miscellaneous
• This internal scheme is applicable to regular and regular repeater students for academic session
Jam to June 2021.
• Marks should be entered through software in the Internal Assessment sheets by the concerned
faculty members within a week after the declaration of test results.
• It will be the responsibility of the concerned faculty to disclose the marks to students, and to
rectify the internal assessment sheets with respect to the errors, if any, observed before
submission.
• Faculty members are also requested to ensure that case discussions / assignments are spread out
during the semester, accumulation of submission and discussion should be avoided.
• Decision of the Director, PIMR, Indore in all the matters of Internal Assessment will be last and
final and will be followed by all.
