ENTRIES

1. An athlete whose age range under 10 years old for Kids Category, 10-12 yrs. old for Pre-Teen
Category, 12-14 yrs. old for Pre-Junior Category, 14-16 yrs. old for Junior Category and 17-35
yrs. old for Senior Category is qualified to compete. (cut off date December 31)
2. Each School/Chapter/LGU has no limit for athletes in both Male and Female Categories.
3. The match is made with pool system consisting of 4 participants in both Tanding and Seni,
awards will be Gold, Silver and 2 bronzes.
4. Each Pesilat can join not more than three (3) categories/event.
5. Team Manager/Coach may be allowed to change entry by name of a competitor during
registration day only.

Regulation and Stages

a. The game will be using the 2013 International Pencak Silat Federation (PERSILAT) rules and
regulations and adjust to the conditions of the Pandemic Covid-19 2020, these activities are
carried out online virtual by sending videos of Seni/artistic and Tanding/Match (Speed Drill-
combination of attack/counter attack) categories as stated above.

e. Every athlete must record a video

1.according to the registered category (seni or Tanding)
2.accordance with the recording procedure
3.accordance with video submission procedures

F.1 The procedure of video recording

1.videos can be recorded indoors or outdoors

2.make sure video lighting
3.the athlete`s position must always be in frame of the video
4.the camera must always stay centered, use tripod
5.adjust the distance between the camera and the athlete, so that all movements can be
recorded perfectly
6.video recording must be done when the athlete is in the position facing the camera from the
initial position
7.the minimum video resolution is 720p
8.video will be sent without editing

F.2 (Additional for Tanding)

9.Pesilat at the center, coach will command shap+hormat (pesilat will demonstrate club
perguruan, after he/she perform, matic shap+hormat and proceed to the starting position)
coach command Bersidia (pesilat should perform pasangan in 3-5 secs) then Mulai.
10.Perform until 6 combination of attack and counter attack only. Use “kaida” before the
technique.
11.Must perform Langkah after 6 combination of attack/counter attack not more than three (3)
Secs.
12.Can moved forward, sideward (side Face) or backward (Facing in Front of the camera)
13.Lateral and diagonal movements is allowed. You can use the space but make sure that
the procedure Number 4, 5 and 6 will observed. (Use Pencak Silat Step Pattern)
14.at the end, the coach should command Berhenti! Followed by shap+hormat facing at the
camera.
15.in seni, we will use by words “gong” to start and in the end of time duration. (coach
command)
16.in Tanding, we will use by words “Mulai” to start, and “Berhenti” as end. (coach command)
