RE: ADMISSION LETTER FOR JOINING THE ORDINARY DIPLOMA PROGRAMME IN THE
YEAR 2020/21.

The Dar es Salaam Institute of Technology (DIT) is pleased to inform you that you have been
admitted to study Ordinary Diploma in Information Technology with effect from the academic
year 2020/21. This is a six semesters (three years) programme.

We are bringing to your attention the following:

1. The 2020/21 academic year will commence on Monday 23rd November, 2020. You are required
to report at the Institute on Saturday 14th or Sunday 15th November, 2020 for registration and
the Orientation programme that will be conducted from 16th November 2020.
2. You are required to bring all your relevant documents for the registration; this includes your
relevant original certificates.
3. The Institute has Classrooms, Library, Canteen, Workshops/Laboratories, playing grounds,
Dispensary and other facilities which make DIT a convenient place for training. The Institute is
Located within the City making easy for any student to get any service like accommodation
outside the Institute.
4. You are required to fill carefully the joining Instruction form before submitting to the Institute.
